Line histogram for a matrix
Hi guys!
I'm new to R, but I was wondering if one could plot many histograms into a
single graph each having a different color. To make things clear:
Suppose you have a matrix of 100 rows and 10 columns. I'm interested in
plotting the histogram for each row, but it should not appear as bars but
rather as lines connecting the points of the frequencies. Now, I want to do
this for the 100

package error message
Hi,
I am trying to make my own package in Windows XP with R 1.9.1. using
Rcmd build/ Rcmd.
The initial Rcmd build compiles ok with no error messages. However, when
I run Rcmd check it runs ok up until

* checking if this is a source package ... OK
* checking whether package 'GammaTest' can be installed ... ERROR

R CMD CHECK question
hi,
I have two private packages, the first (`pkc') depending on the second one
(`roiutils'). The source code and DESCRIPTION files describes the dependency
as it should be ('Imports', `require'), at least I think so.
now, running
R CMD CHECK pkc
yields the following output in which I have inserted my
questions (lines starting with -->):
* checking for working latex ...

I tried two times to get some help for this from the help list but to no avail. I hope,
it's OK to post this here (once...). if not, please ignore (the rest of) this
mail:
for one of my private packages R CMD CHECK {package} givves me annoying warnings
due to 'missing links' in the manpages for functions from another private
package mentioned in the manpages. specifically, I have two

Difficult to set a quiet formula in maanova
Hi,
I am trying to run an analysis with the package maanova and I am not
getting success.
I suppose that I am wrong on set up the formula, so the issue may not
be related to R, properly.

[PATCH 0 of 4] aio event fd support to blktap2
Get blktap2 running on pvops.
This mainly adds eventfd support to the userland code. Based on some
prior cleanup to tapdisk-queue and the server object. We had most of
that in XenServer for a while, so I kept it stacked.
1. Clean up IPC and AIO init in tapdisk-server.
[I think tapdisk-ipc in blktap2 is basically obsolete.
Pending a later patch to remove it?]
2. Split tapdisk-queue into

[PATCH 0 of 6 RESEND v2] blktap3/sring: shared ring between tapdisk and the front-end
This patch series introduces the shared ring used by the front-end to pass
request descriptors to tapdisk, as well as responses from tapdisk to the
front-end. Requests from this ring end up in tapdisk''s standard request queue.
When the tapback daemon detects that the front-end tries to connect to the
back-end, it spawns a tapdisk and tells it to connect to the shared ring. The

combining data frames in a list - how do I add breaks?
I'm a week-old R user, and have become stuck trying to create usable CSV
outputs for post-processing. I am using the package Rioja, which provides
small datasets of results. I am running several analyses in a loop and
iteratively adding the results to a *list* ("combined"). Within each
iteration I use the following:
> combined[[i]] <- performance(fit)
With two iterations I
