[LLVMdev] How to use WhileStmt to implement while loop in LLVM
Dear All, I have a question How could I use WhileStmt class in Stmt.h http://clang.llvm.org/doxygen/Stmt_8h_source.html to implement while loop like while(i==1){} that is required to be inserted For example, Convert x++; y++; to x++; while(i=1){} y++; from the class's constructor: WhileStmt(ASTContext &C, VarDecl *Var, Expr *cond, Stmt *body,SourceLocation WL);//I know C -->

[LLVMdev] How to use WhileStmt to implement while loop in LLVM
No, I need to use it in LLVM pass. Could it work? Bug fix in celt_lpc.c and some xcorr_kernel optimizations
Hi JM, At line 221 in celt_lpc.c (the celt_iir function) I think you really want the RESTORE_STACK statement to be before the #endif instead of after it. Also, I couldn't help notice that your SSE code for xcorr_kernel reads more than "len" elements of "_x". I don't know if that's really a problem when running the codec, but a tool like valgrind will have a

[PATCH v2 2/3] drm: switch drm_fb_xrgb8888_to_rgb565_dstclip to accept __iomem dst
Not all archs have the __io_virt() macro, so cirrus can't simply convert pointers that way. The drm format helpers have to use memcpy_toio() instead. This patch makes drm_fb_xrgb8888_to_rgb565_dstclip() accept a __iomem dst pointer and use memcpy_toio() instead of memcpy(). The helper function (drm_fb_xrgb8888_to_rgb565_line) has been changed to process a single scanline. Signed-off-by:

Re: speex echo cancellation limitations
Thanks for your prompt and helpful reply. In FLOAT_DIVU() it hangs at the following: while (a.m >= b.m) { e++; a.m >>= 1; } for the case where a and b are both zero (yes, division by zero). This happens from mdf.c: leak_estimate = FLOAT_EXTRACT16(FLOAT_SHL(FLOAT_DIVU(st->Pey, st->Pyy),14)); where st->Pey and st->Pyy are both zero, which happens for the

[LLVMdev] Meaning of byval?
The docs say "[byval] indicates that the pointer parameter should really be passed by value to the function. The attribute implies that a hidden copy of the pointee is made between the caller and the callee, so the callee is unable to modify the value in the callee." I am not sure what this means though - when I generate code from the LLVM assembly, do I need to do anything with byval?

Question re: NA, NaNs in R
Hi R-devel, I have a question about the differentiation between NA and NaN values as implemented in R. In arithmetic.c, we have int R_IsNA(double x) { if (isnan(x)) { ieee_double y; y.value = x; return (y.word[lw] == 1954); } return 0; } ieee_double is just used for type punning so we can check the final bits and see if they're equal to 1954; if they are, x is NA, if they're

How to safely using OpenMP pragma inside a .C() function?
I am trying to parallelize part of a C function that is called from R (via .C) using OpenMP's "parallel for" pragma. I get mixed results: some runs finish with no problem, but some lead to R crashing after issuing a long error message involving memory violations. I found this post, which describes how a .Call() function can be made to avoid crashing R by raising the stack limit:

Bug fix in celt_lpc.c and some xcorr_kernel optimizations
Hi John, Thanks for the two fixes. They're in git now. Your SSE version seems to also be slightly faster than mine -- probably due the the partial sums. As for the NEON code, it would be good to compare the performance with the code Aur?lien Zanelli posted at http://darkosphere.fr/public/0002-Add-optimized-NEON-version-of-celt_fir-celt_iir-and-.patch Cheers, Jean-Marc On 06/06/2013 08:07
