Hi, I know this is not a problem comming from R, but maybe you can still help me. I installed R 1.4.1 on Debian Woody, but I can't start it. I am having a problem compiling R on an HP-UX 10.20 system using gcc/g77 compiler. On my IRIX system (SGI compilers, gcc not installed) ./configure runs fine, but there is a problem with make (output below) that can be solved by changing one line in src/modules/lapack/Makefile.
