Patch to Calendar sample
This patch cleans up the calendar sample to follow the Ruby coding
style. It also uses ID_ABOUT and ID_EXIT for the About and Quit menu
item ID''s these allow wxWidgets to put the About and Quit menu in the
correct location on Mac OS X. We should probably do this with all the
samples.

small patch for wxWindow::GetTextExtent
I have not worked on wxRuby2 for awhile and decided to download the
latest CVS HEAD and saw that it still had a problem with
wxWindow::GetTextExtent (in my case showing up when editing Grid
cells). So I copied the method signature from the wxDC::GetTextExtent
which seems to be working, changed 2 variable names and made the
typemap the same as used for wxDC. Well in my program editing grid
cells

This is a fix for MenuItem, on Mac OS it only has 1 constructor so the
second one has #ifndef __WXMAC__
#endif
around it

First, Thank you, thank you, thank you for those who put wxRuby
together. I''m thrilled to be able to write GUI code in Ruby!
I''m hitting some confusion about how Sizers work. I''ve read the
tutorials and the section in the wxWidgets book but I still can''t

Here is a small patch to apply the above RubyConstants.i, it makes it
so all the samples run.
Run the patch in the same directory as the RubyConstants.i

Re: event handlers for wxGrid
I got a warning from the list about the attachments being too big so I
am not sure if the original went through. So here is a zip of the

Here are a few patches 2 small changes and one a little hefty. All are
to *.i files.
SpinCtrl.patch - Changes cWxSpinCtrl.klass to mWxSpinCtrl in rb_define_method.
Dialog.patch - Removed the %ignore wxDialog::wxDialog line, this line
prevents Dialogs working with XRC.
Window.i - Added special code for find_window_* methods so the correct
object type is returned, this is very important when

Small patch to correct spelling of lemonade. Should ask Sean if he
really wanted it to be lemonaid. If not, here''s the patch.
On another note... This sample works! Kudos. It is odd that the
textbox doesn''t scroll. I suppose I may patch that, too.

I was wondering if the mdi sample runs for anyone on OS X? On 10.3, in
both wxruby and wxruby-swig it creates a ruby app but doesn''t show any
child windows on request.

Patch and files to add Listbook
I added the Listbook class (basically the same as the Notebook class
with some name changes). I also took the time to write a sample that
uses it. The sample interface uses XRC and is slightly more advanced
than the current XRC sample.

[BUG] Menus on Snow Leopard not working correctly

Is anyone else dealing with this?

Adding ScreenDC
Here is the file to add ScreenDC. I noticed that it inherits from wxDC
which is what the docs show but the headers for each platform are much
different:
- Mac,MSW,os2,motif,palmos all inherit from wxWindowDC
- X11,GTK inherit from wxPaintDC
- MGL, cocoa inherit from wxDC
After saying that on Windows it still work inheriting from wxDC so I
left it for now, any thoughts?
