I have a problem, because I have a file in fixed width format and I can read
it with 'read.fwf' and after I can use these data to do generate new columns

can't find a function which storages my data.frame in fixed width format.
Can you help me?

error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(139)
When trying to connect to a rsync server (sparc.solaris.2.6) from a
linux machine (redhat 6.2).
# rsync machine.upo.es
ksh: rsync: not found
rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (0 bytes read so far)
rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(139)
Both machines have 2.5.1 version of rsync code, compiled from scratch.
rsh is working
properly when rsync is not in scene.

DTMF detection issues
Hi list,
I'm having trouble with DTFM tones detection. Usually, some tones are
being received duplicated in Asterisk, some not. As you can imagine,
that's a very big problem involving IVR menu options, Meetme conferences
protected with passwords, and so on.
We are currently using DAHDi 2.2.0.2, module wct4xxp, which is managing
a Digium TE220B card, with a hardware echo canceller

Same scale on different q-q plots
Hi there, I'm new on the list. I am wondering as how to make different q-q
plots and display them on the same scale in order to attain an easy visual
comparison.
I have tried to use xlim and ylim as arguments to qq.plot in a similar
fashion to what is done on plot, also I have tried to use the plot.window
utility to implement xlim and ylim. I have even modified the qq.plot.R
source and

DTMF detection when outgoing call to mobile phones
Hi all,
I am trying to detect DTMF keys from a mobile when asterisk make an
outgoing call to the mobile.
The DTMF detection on incoming calls (also FROM mobiles) is working very
well.
The only problem is if asterisk called the phone... Nothing is detected.
I am using a digium te205p with PMX/PSTN connection.
Everything that I can find in forums are problems with dtmf detection on
SIP.

New tutorial: DTMF tone detection
Hello list,
I have prepared a small tutorial today that deals with how to avoid
Asterisk rebuilding DTMF tones when using it to connect industial
appliances that use DTMF. You can find it at:
http://astrecipes.net/index.php?n=248
I know it isn't everybody's piece of cake, but I thought somebody could be
interested as well :)

problem with dtmf detection in asterisk 11
Hi. I am having problems with asterisk detection dtmf properly in
asterisk 11. I am up to rev 390229. Now, when coming in off a did we
have with Velocity, the dids work fine, but from extensions often it
misses digits -- I can type *4 and it will miss the 4. Often, if I type
quite slowly things will work properly. All dtmf modes are set to
rfc2833. Strangely enough, I did not notice this with

sometimes dtmf passed, sometimes not (cisco 7960 SIP)
Hi list, I'm hoping that I'm being stupid, and someone can tell me
what's going on, but for the life of me I can't figure it out. (it's
been a long day, and I'm now in the last 3 weeks of organising my
wedding, so I hope this makes sense ;) )
When at my desk, accessing (for example) my voicemail, the dtmf tones
are passed perfectly, I can enter password, change

DTMF detection on dahdi with b4xxp (again, some more details)
Hi,
I tried again getting DTMF detection on my ISDN devices with dahdi going
again. I used the channel debug to see whether asterisk sees the frames
and detects them as DTMF.
Interestingly here's what works:
1. GSM phone -> chan_dahdi g1 -> asterisk -> can_sip -> SIP phone
Both the GSM phone and the SIP phone can issue DTMF that will be
detected as features (transfer)

Unreliable DTMF detection with DISA on incoming Zap channel on bristuffed * and GSM gateway
Hi,
I'm getting unusable DTMF detection with DISA on incoming ZAP channel
(bristuffed *) on quadbri from GSM gateway. DTMF detection works ok in
normal ISDN incoming line.
How can I check what's going on ? What settings to check ?
Anyone with more experience on such scenarios ?
Thanks in advance,
regards,
Rob.

DTMF Detection Problems on VGSM channel
Hello Asterisk Community,
I'm using Voismart's GSM PCI cards to connect Asterisk to GSM cellular
network.
The problem I face is DTMF detection; that is, whenever I call to one of
the channels (SIMs) on GSM card through my Mobile phone, and dial DTMF
digits while in the call, the Asterisk receives almost all the digits in
multiple samples.
e.g. I dial 123456789 and Asterisk receives

DTMF auto detection bug?
Hi,
it seems that there is a bug in asterisk's dtmf mode autodetection.
Assume following sip.conf:
[sipprovider]
disallow=all
allow=g726
dtmfmode=auto
DTMF does not work. It seems rfc2833 mode is chosen despite it being
obvious that this cannot work!
The following configuration is necessary to get DTMF to work: dtmfmode=info
In my opinion, this behaviour is counter-intuitive. I am using

DTMF detection problem on DISA
Hi everybody,
I am having DTMF detection problem on DISA with my callback system. For many
users, it keeps playing the dialtone even after they have input their
number. I have trunk setup to both g729 and ulaw. What could be the reason
for this problem. Some users have to dial a few times before the system can
recognize their dialed number.

DTMF Detection: Where it happens actually?
Hello,
Could anyone help me to figure out the following questions, please:
1. Whenever there is an incoming DTMF signal on the Zap channel, where
does the processing actually take place: In Asterisk?; or in Zaptel Drivers?
2. I'm having a problem of double (or sometimes tripple) detection of a
single DTMF received whenever I'm calling in through a Mobile Phone. I
guess I need to make

Sip 1.4.x DTMF detection not working
Hello
I have a setup where i have 2 asterisk servers connected over the public
internet with plenty of bandwidth, NAT on one side only. If i use IAX
between the two *'s dtmf is flawless. If I use SIP, DTMF detection is around
30% or less. I have an exten to dial into and check DTMF:
exten => NPANXXxxxx,1,Answer(); (actual number blanked for privacy)

Bad DTMF detection
We're still having problems with DTMF detection on our X100P cards.
Incoming callers that hold down the "1" button for too long are being
connected to extension 11. One would think fat fingers were uncommon,
but it happens to alot of people.
I suspected this was related to our having to increase the txgain, but I
tried turning it down with no effect. I also tried disabling the

Problem with DTMF detection in ast_app_getdata (*1.2)
Hi,
I am using a basic VOIP phone (find here:
http://www.tootoo.com/d-rp20207560-VoIP_phone/) on an Asterisk
1.2.26-BRIstuffed-0.3.0-PRE-1y-q version of asterisk. I am running a C-based
prepaid application based on MySQL that accepts dtmf events from the phone
to authenticate. When asterisk is configured with DTMF mode rfc 2833 or auto
