"megatec_usb" that may support your UPS. If it

PowerWalker UPS - Re-branded Mustek ?
Hello !
first off, thank you all for making this piece of software.
from what i have seen so far this seems to be a really mature and advanced tool for all sorts of UPS models !
I`d like to tell that I own a UPS which isn`t listed on the compatibility list, but seems to be compatible.
It is a PowerWalker - see this at

can't make mustek powermust 600usb work
Disclaimer: I've setup APC UPS monitoring and it works...
... but when it comes to mustek powermust 600usb (connected via
com-port), I can't make it work.
Got NUT installed via aptitude in ubuntu feisty and a basic setup,
exactly the same as for the apc, except for the name of the ups and
the corresponding section of ups.conf

Mustek PowerMust 1000/1400/2000 USB (megatec, megatec_usb?)
Hi,
a few days ago, I bought some of those Mustek UPSes
that have both a serial and a USB connector.
Currently only the serial port is supported by
the megatec driver. This works fine so far.
Now I have seen there is a megatec_usb driver,
which currently only supports 2 other UPSes.
How can I help to find out whether the PowerMust
might actually work with the megatec_usb driver?

[PATCH][RFC] OpenUPS driver
Hi all,
I attached a driver for MiniBox openUPS device (
http://www.mini-box.com/OpenUPS) and a dump of the hid usages.
I had the possibility to make a few adjustments to the device firmware for
HID usages, and although I haven't managed to produce a good structure
many issues from previous firmware were at least fixed and new information
added.
ATM the driver only shows pertaining

PowerMust 500
Hi folks,
has anyone been successful in getting a Mustek PowerMust 500 to talk to
nut? All my attempts (tried "mustek" and "powermust" as drivers) have
been unsuccessful so far.
Thanks for any clues.

RE Addition to the list of supported UPS
Hi Peter,
I've fwded your info to the list, as other people might be interested in.
I've also logged a patch tracker so that you can follow its inclusion:
https://alioth.debian.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=302882&group_id=30602&atid=411544
As a side note, there is a work underway to merge the similar driver
(mustek, powermust, ...)
into one named megatec. This one

New Mustek UPS model working
Hello,
first of all I'd like to thank all the NUT developers for their gorgeous
work and for their efforts to make NUT the best and most complete UPS
management software I've ever seen (seriously).
Secondarily I'd like to help the NUT project as far as my help is
needed, I'm not a programmer (by now...) but I would like to help
somehow anyway.
I have 3 UPS from the same

Mustek PowerMust 800VA
Hello,
fisrt, you should subscribe to the NUT user mailing list to get a good
support, since I've personaly no knowledges about such units:
http://lists.alioth.debian.org/mailman/listinfo/nut-upsuser
Next, you should try the latest nut release (2.0.5 currently, but
2.2.0 soon) and most of all the new megatec driver.

Mustek
Hi all,
I'm thinking buying a UPS Mustek PowerMust 600 USB to shutdown a Linux
box on case of power failure.
Can I use nut with this UPS without problems?
I checked the page http://www.vamos-wentworth.org/upsinfo.html and was
only something (incomplete) about Powermust 400 (information from
November 2005). Could this be already changed?
Thanks in advance.
