Hello, I am using Xen 4 with Debian Squeeze and  trying to virtualize a Windows 2008 Server machine. I''ve followed these instructions: http://alex.mordue.co.uk/blog/?p=85 But once i do:  xm create windows2008.cfg The domU tries to start but then dies in few seconds with these errors: in xend.log: [2011-06-18 14:28:04 2254] INFO (XendDomain:1206) Domain windows2008 (28) unpaused.

windows 2003 can not login with samba 4.6.4
Hi, We have upgrade samba from 3.6.23-36 to 4.6.4, but we got "*Logon Failure Unknown user name or bad password*" error while trying to access samba form window 2003. And we use usename and password to login, not by the AD. We also test on windows2008 windows2008-R2 window7 windows10, it works. Thanks. Lifeng Ren

pxelinux localboot enhancement
pxelinux, when given a localboot=... option, will try to boot next bios device itself. The problem is it takes next BIOS device by BIOS order of enumeration. That has no connection with the boot order defined in BIOS. Since a user cannot control BIOS enumeration but can control the boot order, there is no way one can force a desired next device for local boot with pxelinux. In general, you

Re: Asterisk-Users digest, Vol 1 #1380 - 15 msgs
You have the session target as the IP address of the router's own ethernet interface. You probably want that to be the address of the Asterisk server instead. I also highly recommend you use full duplex ethernet, as voice packets don't really like to be restransmitted when a collision happens. -d > Message: 10 > From: "Bartosz Jozwiak" <bartek@cq-link.sr> >

Samba4 and idmap_ad
Hello everyone, I have a - maybe only cosmetical - problem. I am currently configuring two SLES servers running Samba4 as member servers in a Windows2008/2012-AD. (Yeah, poor us!) Everything went fine: installing the samba packages, getting Kerberos running, and joining the AD. But when I use id or wbinfo now to get user information I get lots of groups which cannot be mapped a GID and thus are

Voice only works from one way.
Hello, everyone. Right now, we are trying launch our own PBX system based on Asterisk(Fedora) with Cisco 2611. Cisco has 2 port FXO card installed on it. For testing, I have 2611 hooked into phone line with number of xxx-xxx-xxxx fine. (I'll call it F). Using softphone, I can dial in extension 1001 on asterisk, which should talk to cisco. After initial connection to Asterisk, I have try to

getent passwd shows old name for renamed user
Hi, I renamed user 'foo' to 'bar' on my samba AD using an ADUC on a Windows2008 Server. Now on a samba member I see: # wbinfo -u .... bar # getent passwd .... foo:*:10001:10000:Some user:/home/bar:/bin/sh Home dir changed, but the a name is still old. What can I do to make getent show the new name? I am using winbind and ad backend, here is my smb.conf: [global] security =

Guest interface names not same as configured name
Hi, I am creating a guest with following description for interfaces in the xml using virsh create xml command. For some reason, the guest interface names in the VM dont match the names specified in the xml. Is there a way to make guest interface names predictable? Cisco gateway help needed
HI, I have been pulling my hair out trying to get a Cisco MC3810 to interface my Asterisk box with a T1. I am able to make outgoing calls but incoing calls never reach my Asterisk box. The cisco give a fast busy when I try to call one of the DID's. When playing around with the dial-peers I can get the cisco to pick up the call, but then it forwards the call back to the ANI that is dialing.
