Am looking for a way to dynamically add menu items to a task bar icon menu. And then once selected - I would like to get the title of the menu item. The general idea is to read a text file: Project1 Project2 Project3 ===== Add those to the task bar menu, and when i select (for example) Project2, I want to pass the string "Project2" to the code. More than one of my apps have no taskbar button (Wine 0.9.59 and Gnome 2.20). Is this the same problem as bug #12362 ? Bill

I am running Wine 1.2-rc7 on a Ubuntu 10.04 minimal install. I have installed X, and Wine seems to run fine. The problem is that applications that want to make a "window list" or taskbar don't draw them. It isn't a fatal error, the applications simply act like nothing happened. For instance, when I use BBClean (blackbox for Windows), it shows the panel but not the window list.

Question: All the newer Gnome distributions seem to configure themselves with two small "taskbars" (panels, I guess) one at the top and one at the bottom. I prefer the older scheme with one larger one (usually) at the bottom. When I install Centos5 in the near future I'm going to want to be able to restore the old-style panels. I have recently installed MS Office 2007 in Wine 1.2 on Ubuntu 10.04 64-bit I have noticed that I cannot switch between two excel workbooks. I can either work on only one excel at a time or do a lot of jugglery to switch between the two.
