Vorbis still glitching on metadata update?
Greetings, I am trying to track down a bug with intermittant glitching in our Vorbis streams. I am running Icecast 2.3.2 on Ubuntu 9.04. Several Vorbis clients seem to glitch on some (not all) metadata updates. As we update metadata 3 to 4 times a minute, this is something we are trying to fix, VLC gives the following output on metadata update: main warning: the mixer got a packet in

Not sure if my bridge is the problem or my firewall
I''m running Xen and created a virtual os called Domain-1. So now I have two systems, Domain-0(dom0) and Domain-1(dom1), both running fedora 8. I only have 1 ethernet device eth0. However, for some reason, my internet doesn''t work in Domain-1. My output for route -n on Domain-0 is: Kernel IP routing table Destination Gateway Genmask Flags Metric Ref

poor network performance to one of two guests
G'day, I have a host running two kvm guests. One of them gets very poor network performance, testing with iperf I get ~10MBit/sec to guest A, >400MBit/sec to guest B (running iperf between the host/guest). Both guests are using the same bridge: Guest A: <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='54:52:00:75:24:91'/> <source

A bizarre problem on this host running Asterisk. I don't actually think this is Asterisk's problem, but I don't know who to ask, so if this is OT, please redirect me. CentOS 5.2 64-bit Xen domU running Asterisk 1.4.22 32-bit with a number of SIP phones and a few SIP<->PSTN gateways. boot kernel via function key
Hello, I setup pxelinux, a bootsplash and a help screen (F1). Now i would like that F2 boots the default kernel. It is possible to assign F2 to boot a kernel? I did not found this topic in the syslinux.doc. How cann i tell pmmtolss16 to assign i to a specific color? I tried something like: pmmtolss16 #ff0000=2 < foo.pmm > bar.lss but this did not work. regards Philipp --

call to a particular 800 number never shows answered on Zap channel
Whenever we call IBM, the call counter on the phone never starts and in the CLI the zap channel never gets the answered signal from the PRI. See below. -- Executing Dial("SIP/5933-645d", "Zap/g1/18004267378") in new stack -- Requested transfer capability: 0x00 - SPEECH -- Called g1/18004267378 At this point, I am in IBM's menu system. However the call never

Yes, this is exactly what is happening. Thanks a lot. I am thinking about adding a special case for the IBM 800 number since it is the only one my company is complaining about. Currently I have this in my dialplan:

Thanks for the reply. Forgive me for being na?ve, however have jumped in to this asterisk project at work due to some circumstances beyond my control and I don't know a lot about carriers and how this all works. I am figuring it out, but it's a lot of trial by fire. As far as I know, we only use 1 carrier for our system. We have a PRI from NuVox and we use 7 channels for our asterisk

Slow network
Hi, I have problem with a Centos 5.3 computer. The networking is very slow. The networking card is a RealTek 1GigE. I plugged an Ubuntu laptop on the same cable and port with an Intel GigE, and it's about 8 to 10 times faster. So the problem is likely to be with the CentOS config. Any suggestion on how to track down the problem with speed. I have checked the packets with wireshark, no

cisco ip phne 7911G with asterisk
hi, I'm trying to configure a Cisco IP Phone 7911G in order to work with Asterisk. I have loaded the 8.3.3 SIP Firmware of Cisco through a DHCP and a TFTP server. All seems ok but a file that is downloaded : term06.default.loads (I understand that is for 7906 model) instead of term11.default.loads (I understand that is for 7911 model). In any case the phone reboots well. At this moment I
