seeking a help on if function
Hello r helpers! Below is the whole coding for my programme. Before proceed more further, let me explain for you. First of all, I need to compute trimmed mean. Till that step is ok. Then I need to compute ssdw which is sum of square deviation. If I do equal trimming at both tail of distribution that I chose, I will use the first ssd formulae which is "a". But if I am doing unequal

tinc rel 1.0.1 gets aborted in OPENSSL call
Hallo, I?m using tincd now since the old days of 1.0pre4 and ist pretty good software. Ths week I went to upgrade from 1.0pre7 to 1.0.1 and failed. The tincd process gets aborted inside the libcrypto library with OPENSSL_assert (inl >0). Tracking down that problem I found, that the EVP_DecryptUpdate gets called in meta.c with the last argument containing a negativ value (lenin is -204).

memory leak with vlan tagged traffic in switch mode
Hi, has anybody a running setup with 2 or more tinc daemons in switch mode which transport 8021q tagged traffic? I am trying to connect two segments with about 4 x 1000 mac addresses (distributed on different vlans). I am always running out of memory on one side. This happens only on the side where the arp requests come from. Currently there is no unicast traffic between the sides; only

scp problems?
Hi. So I have been having problems using scp to copy files between two of my machines, both of which are running OpenSSH 2.30p1 (though I've had the same problem with previous versions). It is basically as simple as the file not being transferred after authentication occurs. I can however use scp to copy files back and forth from another machine using a SSH Communications version

Using iproute2 to bond two Internet lines for a webserver.
I am relatively new to iproute2. Any information on the topic below would save me considerable time. I appreciate any help, thanks. We want to plug two lines into a webserver to increase the bandwidth available to the hosted sites. Rather than use round-robin DNS we would prefer to use iproute2 to use equal cost routing across the two lines. However, I am still not sure how well that will

Round-robin DNS and session disconnects
Hello, Our service has multiple Samba servers to serve up the same directories for our users. The users map to a single address, which directs them to a server by round-robin DNS. This hasn't really been a problem until recently. One user in particular complains that he loses his session, often in the middle of editing a document, causing problems with Windows file locking and he says he

ip rule, fwmark, mangle and src IP
I made a script to test if in a moultiple gateway setup all default connection are up, regardless of the fact that that gateway is the default gw. Suppose adsl1 and adsl2 are present, and all traffic goes by default to adsl1, and you want to test if adsl2 is ok. 1. I use mangles from iptables to mark icmp packets to some test machines 2. I set up a routing table for each adsl 3. I use

Guild Wars 2 hangs on start
Hi, I would appreciate any help with getting Guild Wars 2 to run on Debian Linux (KDE, testing). When I hit the "Play" button on the start screen, the music starts to play but the GW2 window only shows the underlying console window. It just sits there and has to be killed manually. Specs: AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+ 4 GB RAM GeForce GTX 260 Nvidia driver 295.53 Wine 1.5.5 Output from

Tinc 1.1pre15 double-crash
Hello, this morning I apparently had tinc crash on me. In 2 independent tinc clusters of 3 nodes each (but located in the same datacenter), one tinc process crashed in each of the clusters. One process apparently with `status=6/ABRT`, the other with `status=11/SEGV`. Interestingly, they crashed with only 5 minutes difference. The only thing I can come up with that might explain this correlation
