A category reduction problem
I am trying to print out a list of strings of length 11 based on
integers 0 through 10. The rules as given to me for the ordering are:
The first digit must be 0.
The 2nd digit must be 0 or 1.
The 3rd digit must equal the 2nd digit or the 2nd digit +1.
...
Given the final digit, n, all digits 0 through n must appear in a given
sequence.
So the final 1024 item list should look like
0 1 2 3 4 5

Weighting Schemes: Evaluation results
Hi,
Evaluation of pivoted normalization ("PPP") of tf-idf weighting scheme is
also complete now. I have also evaluated the default tf-idf normalization
("ntn") and other normalizations combinations involving pivoted
normalization in wdfn, idfn and wtn component as "Pxx", "xPx" and "xxP"
normalization strings respectively to have a clear idea about

Ah. If FIRE doesn't have something that can show this suitably, then

?I can say FIRE is also a reliable source but INEX/TREC are better. INEX
can give you free access and TREC is not freely available. I had used INEX
for xapian in the past and some details are here:

Interrupt storm with shared interrupt on digi(4)
I have an on-going problem with DigiBoard Xem boards causing interrupt
storms (since 4.x days). The FreeBSD driver polls the board and
doesn't have a functional interrupt handler (and Linux behaves in the
same way). It seems that under some conditions, the board will assert
its interrupt line and, since there's no interrupt handler to clear
whatever triggered the interrupt, the IRQ is

Im Terminal kann ich R problemlos starten.

handling mac addresses and guid''s
Hi,
I like Xen''s feature of autogenerating those values if they are not supplied in
a config file, but for sake of persistency I want to inherit the once-generated
values and reuse them after the first creation of a domU.
I found it possible to query the values at runtime using xm list
--long but I''m not sure I''m going the most elegant route with that, it
would mean

blockwise sums
I am looking for a function like
my.blockwisesum(vector, n)
that computes sums of disjoint subsequences of length n from vector
and can work with vector lengths that are not a multiple of n.
It should give me for instance
my.blockwisesum(1:10, 3) == c(6, 15, 24, 10)
Is there a builtin function that can do this?
One could do it by coercing the vector into a matrix of width n,
and then use

IPMI/BMC/BIOS
We have recently been asked to evaluate some computing machinery for
a new project. This particular end user has very limited experience
with the stated security requirements in a lights-out environment.
Their primary work (as well as mine) in the past has been with very
small, simple networks of desktop machines and a few servers with
extremely limited access.? For the most part, their admins

slightly less random random macs
Hello all,
There''s been many posts lately about problems that stem from either
duplicate macs, non static macs and other networking issues that would
be averted if a mac was specified upon vm creation.
I''ve been using this little function I wrote in my shell scripts that
setup dom-u''s from a csv file and its worked rather well, lets you

Attended Transfer does not release channels
Hi all,
i have the following setup
PSTN -> routing server (asterisk 1.6.2.11) -> IAX -> callcenter asterisk
1.6.2.9 -> SIP -> agent
Does work quit fine - then agent does have the abibility to transfer a call
to a third party - the agent can initiate the transfer over a web interface
- it does generate a asterisk manager atxfer request...
So agent does initiate transfer - call

Unable to forward frame/voice
Hi,
We've exhausted our internal capabilities as well as Sangoma tech support and
were hoping someone with some expertise could help us with a pointer. Briefly,
our issue is as follows.
Periodically (several times an hour), we get either of the following error
messages in our asterisk messages log. These correspond with dropped outbound
calls on a one-to-one basis when the second error

TE110P + PRI incoming + outgoing extensions question
I just got a TE110P up on an XO PRI - everything looks good so far.
We've been given a block of 23 numbers for the PRI. If I explictly set the
incoming extension in extensions.conf like:
exten => 1153,1,Answer
or:
exten => _XXXX,1,Answer
I can get the incoming call. If I try and do:
exten => s,1,Answer
I'll see something like this:
-- Extension '1153' in context

Re: Error: Migration not permitted with assigned PCIdevice
We use Digi Serial-over-IP devices to pass through serial ports to domUs. We''ve had success with the Digi One SP, PortServer TS, and Passport devices. I currently use the Passport 48 for IP access to all of my serial consoles (Ethernet switches, RAID arrays, FC switches, etc.) as well as to pass through a modem to my HylaFAX server, which is in a Xen domU.
