Problems with tinc configure with gmp 3.0.1
I can't get tinc to complete the configure script. It can't find the gmp 3.0.1 libraries even though they are installed. I saw a fix mentioned in the list archives, but it didn't work. Can anyone else help me out? Thanks John - Tinc: Discussion list about the tinc VPN daemon Archive: http://mail.nl.linux.org/lists/ Tinc site: http://ftp.nl.linux.org/pub/linux/tinc/

error in building llvm
Dear All I've made un update to the llvm to the latest. At configuration, I've met some new errors to me, like it needs lldb, lld, dragonegg, llgo and so. However, I've checked them and configuration went on. Now I'm stuck at build stage, specifically at dragonegg. First it could not find gmp.h, I've solved this by installing libgmp-dev. Now, it can't find auto-host.h.

[LLVMdev] Analysis of polly-detect overhead in oggenc
Hi Sebastian, Yes, you have pointed an important reason. If we comment this source code you have listed, then the compile-time overhead for oggenc*8.ll can be reduced from 40.5261 ( 51.2%) to 20.3100 ( 35.7%). I just sent another mail to explain why polly-detect pass leads to significant compile-time overhead. Besides the reason you have pointed, another reason is resulted from those string

[LLVMdev] dyld: lazy symbol binding failed: fast lazy bind offset out of range
Jack, I looks like the code is calling dlopen() on LLVMPolly.so and it or something it links against has an initializer. The initialer is run before dlopen() returns and the crash is in the initializer. The message: dyld: fast lazy bind offset out of range (53437, max=7640) in image /sw/lib/gcc4.7/libexec/gcc/x86_64-apple-darwin12.2.0/4.7.2/cc1 means the initializer called something which

complex migration
Hello Everyone, I need to do a complex migration of either a guest VM as a whole or as individual files with a dump and load of a progress database-based ERP system. The old host is an Amd Opteron 8 Core 16 GB ram single Socket CPU with a RAID 10 array of 8x 500 GB SATA Disks.? It is running Centos 6.10 as a base OS using OpenVZ as the VM technology.? Kernel version is 2.6.32-042stab142.1 x86_64

Samba4 high cpu load
OpenSUSE 12.1 Version 4.0.0alpha19-GIT-7290a62 Upon starting, s4 burns the CPU for around 5 minutes: PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 3672 root 20 0 72780 20m 2388 R 95.4 1.1 0:36.84 samba After which all is well. Maybe this is just openSUSE as on Ubuntu it's less than 5 minutes (but still there). Any ideas? Cheers, Steve

[PATCH] Fix gmp stubdom build when DESTDIR is used
The default make targets in the top level makefile set DESTDIR which gets applied when the stubdom makefile tries to do a make install within gmp to install libgmp.a to the cross root. Ian, do you want to apply this to your tree and commit the whole thing or would you prefer I roll out a fresh new patch set with all updates applied? Signed-off-by: Matthew Fioravante

gmp package installation on CentOS 5.2
Hello, Last year, I installed CentOS 5.2 on an HP Proliant Server. Along with other packages, the gmp and gmp-devel version 4.1.4 packages were installed. To the best of my knowledge these packages do not come from the gmp team. Recently, I built an rpm package for gmp 5.0.1 for CentOS 5.2. I tried to update the gmp package by command rpm -Uvh gmp-5.0.1-1.x86_64.rpm but the update failed

Kindle PC 1.8.1 and wine 1.3.32
Kindle crashes in wine. http://appdb.winehq.org/objectManager.php?sClass=version&iId=24648 I am using arch linux. I downgraded wine because it was not working in latest wine from arch.
