patch for tinc-0.3
Hi tinc list members,
There were some problems with Ivo's email adresses (both zarq@iname.com
and
zarq@spark.icicle.dhs.org) so I resent the stuff to the mailling list.

Hi Ivo,
Hier is een oplossing voor een bugje in flush_queue(), en ook wat andere
troepjes
zoals een tincd scheduler. Dit werkt wat beter, omdat de

OK thanks
(I added main() {} as per FAQ and I got the dynload to build a dll ok)
I am also interested in building the R sources as per your descriptions.
To simplify things, I have removed b18 cygwin and have now installed
egcs-mingw32 with your djtools as recommended.
Everything seems to work OK; tools that

centos 5.2 / sun java ?
Starting with rhel 5.2, Redhat provides sun java in the Supplementary channel.
Are there any plans to release sun-java in the centos extra or plus repo ?
Would be nice to keep sun java up to date using yum.
Thnx,
Stephan

[PATCH] Eternal flush, memory leaks
Using tincd 1.0.7, if I send a SIGALRM to tincd when a host is

Memoria de R y bucles for
Buenos días:
A ver.... una duda muy general, y otra más específica...
Después de haber conseguido tratar con R.... y hacer un script de 161 páginas...
es hora de empezar a hacer bucles para reducirlo a menos de 5 hojas....
el primer problema que me encuentro es que se queja de que el vector de datos que intruduzco (una base de datos de 11 años) es demasiado grande;

Confused about start of day setup
Hi,
I hope I''m right here. If not then please point me in the right
direction.
My problem in short:
I have problems using (pinning, mmu_update) physical pages from
0x900000 to 0xB1000 usualy.
I''m writing my own little amd64 64bit toy kernel (based on Mini-OS as
starting point) for xen and I run into problems with the way the start
of day sets up the physical pages.
My kernel

What would be nice is the ability to control tinc realtime with some sort of GUI
tool. This tool can then be used for much

Definately. But is it the client or the server?
I've sent it to the portable OpenSSH bug address.
I'm using OpenSSH 2.5.2p2-1.7 on a RedHat 7.0 with all updates.
Sometimes I can login fine, and sometimes I can't. It actually seems to

10th anniversary of tinc 1.0
Hello everyone,
Today is exactly 10 years ago that tinc 1.0 was released. I would have hoped to
celebrate this by releasing 1.0.22 and 1.1pre8 today, but this will instead
happen in one week.
Tinc 1.1 is close to becoming stable, and I hope to release 1.1.0 before the
end of the year. The main features of tinc 1.1 are the improved security over
tinc 1.0, and a much nicer interface that makes it

DirectX 8 Library error.
I have written a directdraw program in dx7 that i can get working under
wine.
I have now written a simple directx8 3d program that works under windows
but i am getting these wierd errors under wine.
this is the output from wine -debugmsg +module pro666 I think it is a
problem with the two libraries d3d8.lib and d3dx8.lib as I can see errors
there. Also I notice that these are the two libraries

tinc and routing Cont'd
Hi,
What i said above is not true, i didn't realize that the reason the
route disappeared
was caused by a script that restarts tinc (and also resets the tap
device), not by tinc itself.
I compiled and installed tinc 0.3 today. It seems to work ok, even on a
very slow
486 that caused to crash earlier tinc version.

tinc and routing
Hi,
I have an experimental setup with two interconnected LANs by means of
tinc and
a cable ISP.
Within the two LANS, two machines act as a router: they have a route
from LAN a
to LAN b using the tap0 device in their routing tables.
The route is manually added by the route command. If for one reason,
tincd crashes
the route disappears also. What would be the best way to solve this
problem?

Observing nasty crashes
Hi,
This weekend I changed to faster machines, some very old Ethernet card
and re-tried
Tinc... I stumbled into some nasty bugs.
Packets that are held in the receive queue become corrupted. I observed
lengths (ie, the
len field in the packet structure) that are ok when add_queue() inserts
them in the queue, and way to large lengths or even negative when the
queues get flushed.

*** BUG? ***
Hi!
I've installed RedHat 6.1 on a Pentium 233. I'm using samba 2.0.5a which
came with RH6.1. On another PC (Pentiun-II 400) I've installed Windows
NT 4.0. These two PC's are connected to the same network. I've
configured Samba to share the home directories on the Linux System. I'm
able to reach my own homedir from NT. Within NT I've assigned this share
to drive L.
