. (period): Wildcard match; matches one or more characters
Hi List; In the outbound, I read in the documents the Wildcard match "by using the . (period)", but I did not understand how Wildcard will work (like what)? As I know that Wildcard is a term used with the Diguim TDM card (FXO and FXS), so what is the relation between such cards and the matching in the dial plan? Any help? Regards Bilal

NSD reload
Hi there! I remember reading that you cannot reload new zone files on the fly and require a full restart of the nsd daemon? We are evaluating multiple DNS servers that have better performance comparing to bind, but will require quite heavy zone reload (new and existing) every 10 minutes or so. Downtime (even 1-3 secs) is not the option. Thanks!

[Weft QDA users] Weft on Ubuntu -- Ctrl-shortcuts NOT working?
Hi -- have just followed Christophe''s notes to get Weft QDA up and running on my IBM Thinkpad T20 w/Ubuntu 6.06 (Dapper Drake). Am just going thru the manual and trying various things, as I''m new to qualitative analysis AND new to QDA tools. Anyway, one thing I''ve found is that many (and maybe ALL?) of the CTRL-shortcuts mentioned in the documentation are not working

Dial out through multiple Zap groups
Hi, I'm trying to set a rule to dial out through multiple Zap groups so that, say, g0 is the cheaper POTS lines group and must be used first. However, if g0 is busy or disconnected then try dialing out g1. My g0 group is made up of 4 analog lines connected to a 4-FXO card. I disconnected the RJ-11 wires from the FXO card to simulate a line disconnection. So theoretically all calls should

I have been trying to compile tinc on Dev-Cpp for some time. Is there anywhere that can point me to some hints or a howto? Ive been looking for a few days now. If I can do it, I'd be willing to write a how-to doc if it does not exist. Im apparently missing system.h, pidfile.h, avl_tree.h, ipv6.h. [LLVMdev] Multiple LLVM, Parallelization, PRAM, XMT
Hi Is it possible to combine multiple LLVM with PRAM /XMT? Prof. Uzi Vishkin (Univ. of Maryland) had created 64 cores PRAM: Parallel Random Access Memory / Explicit Multi Threading. Example: 1. The programmer can create multiple LLVM and run the same instruction on different LLVM, or create a pipeline on multiple LLVM (different instruction on different LLVM, but the same data). 2. Execution on

Can Asterisk hear on two IP addresses? And can I do
Dear Alex; Thanks for your kindly help and answer. The question here is: how asterisk will be able to receive calls at two network cards where each network card has a different IP address. Maybe we need to know if asterisk is doing a hear on the ports only without caring for IP or it is doing a hear only on the IP:port? Any advise? Bilal, There is no technical difference, from Asterisk's

Linux in a Windows 2k3 domain - odd lockout issue
I am currently running an openSuSE 10.2 machine in a Windows 2k3 domain. I have upgraded to Samba 3.0.26a, hoping it would solve my issue, but so far no luck. I was successful in adding my machine to the domain, and the DC logs show repeated successful authentications, and those few typo'd attempts, but nothing that is a sequence of failed logins. I get tickets and can access shares from
