fixing cannot route packet error
I am seeing a problem that looks the same as that described in message: http://mail.nl.linux.org/tinc/2001-06/msg00000.html titled : Error: cannot route packet - please help The thread says it is fixed in the CVS version. I did a "cvs checkout -r CABAL tinc" and installed that version. Now tinc always fails trying to establish the meta-data connection. I assume I compiled something

row-echelon form (was no subject)
I think one needs an LU decomposition rather than QR. However, I couldn't find anything off the shelf to do an LU, other than learning that determinant() now uses LU instead of QR or SVD, so the code to do it must be in there for those that want it. You'll probably need to divide rows of U by the first entry if you insist on the unique reduced REF. However, I can't see any reason

row echelon form
Hi everyone, I am looking to use R as a MATLAB replacement for linear algebra. I've done a fairly good job for finding replacements for most of the functions I'm interested in, I John Fox wrote a program for implementing the reduced row echelon form of a matrix (by doing the Gauss-Jordan elimination). I modified it a bit: rref <- function(A,

Gameguard ruins wine?
A little quote from the official cabal forums: > Playing Cabal on linux is impossible thanks to gameguard, WINE (or Cedega) cannot correctly emulate the environment needed for gameguard to run which causes Cabal to exit with an error. You should check the WINE (and Cedega) websites for other people views/experiences trying to run any gameguard protected game on linux, none of them work. >
