code cleanup suggestion - error classes
Currently, most of the modules define an error class of some sort (e.g.
cWin32ServiceError). Within the code, the error is raised like this:
rb_raise(cWin32ServiceError,ErrorDescription(GetLastError()));
It seems logical that, instead of appending the message every time, that
we should simply call ErrorDescription(GetLastError()) simply by raising

Calling CreateFile on an instance of File - possible?

setting (or unsetting) the various file attributes. So, you can do

Bug in new_work_item

Server 2012 - 64bit NTPD Crash
Good day
I?m trying to get NUT working on Server 2012 64-bit.
I can start the ntpd but as soon as I connect with upsc, the NTPD process
exits with the following debug output:

EverQuest - worked once, but no more
I had a previous install on another computer with the following, and EQ worked perfectly there, with the following configuration:
Laptop: HP dv6355
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce Go 6150 (UMA)
Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 (1.8 GHz)
Memory: 2 GB
OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Wine: 1.1.4
Unfortunately, the computer was formatted and given to someone else, so I can no longer compare the configurations or run any tests

little bit, and I must have done something that messed up

Hi all,
Have a strange behaviour that I don't know how to debug.
This is when I use the Eaton PW5125 ups. I have it connected
And running in standby.
Starting up the drivers (pw3105 and pw5125) and they run.
Start up the upsd and can read info from both of them. The 3105 is
supplying the computer and the 5125 have a dummy load.
The 5125 is showing that it is off line. Now when I hit the on
