My WinXP client creates files and directories that are writable only by the file owner, not by the group to which that user belongs. I have a fixed height scrollable div inside another div that controls the slideDown and slideUp effects. This causes a really bad flicker in Firefox (1.0.7) for the entire duration of the slide down and up.
