JRuby version of win32-api - initial try
Hi all,
I''ve got a preliminary JRuby version of win32-api checked into CVS at
the moment under win32-api/lib/win32/api.rb. I''ve also pasted it below.
It doesn''t quite work right in that I can''t get it to modify the
arguments in place in the API#call method. Take a look at the sample
code at the very bottom to see what I mean.
I haven''t even tried

Using Libvirt Java Bindings on Windows 7 64bit
Hi All,
Has anybody had any managed to use the libvirt java bindings on Windows 7
64bit (or similar configuration)?
I am using Java 6.
When I try to use the Test.class delivered with the bindings it always
fails with the following error:

Libvirt java from Windows
I am writing a java based client that would be executed from windows
that will use libvirt.
1. Got libvirt-java (
http://libvirt.org/sources/java/libvirt-java-0.4.7.tar.gz) and build a

Java client error on Windows 7 64 bit for Libvirt on KVM
Hi,
I need some help in building a Java client on Windows 7 64 bit plaftorm to manage a KVM using the libvirt APIs. Using the instructions at http://libvirt.org/java.html, i was able to build libvirt.jar. My understanding is that libvirt.jar uses JNA to call libvirt's native windows library. I tried using the libvirt dlls in the experimental Windows installation package mentioned in

libFLAC JNA Issue
Hello,
I hope this is the right place for this kind of question.
As developper, i'm actually writing java interface to use libFLAC with
JNA, to reproduce "flac -t" function, needed to validate/unvalidate flac
files before sending them in our preservation system.
.
Everything is working fine between java and libFLAC.so. Callback are
called, C API is smart with void* client_data

Hi everybody,
I'm trying to run the sample of the site, but is not working. In fact,

What can it be?

JRuby and callbacks?
Hi all,
Any Java/JRuby folks on the list? I''d like to see if we can implement
api.c for JRuby using JNA and see how it handles the callbacks.
I''m not a Java guy, nor do I know JNA, but I''ll take a stab at it if no
one else on the list does.
Here are a couple of useful links:

Processor: AMD Turion 64 X2 (1.8 GHz)
Memory: 2 GB
OS: Ubuntu 8.04
Wine: 1.1.4
Unfortunately, the computer was formatted and given to someone else, so I can no longer compare the configurations or run any tests

Java Application on 64bit Windows
Hi,
I am trying to develop a Java application with libvirt 0.5.1. I am trying this on Windows7 64bit. I downladed libvirt-0.5.1.jar and jna.jar files and added them to the Buildpath. Then I installed VirtViewer for windows 64 bit and copied dll files.
In my application if i only use System.setProperty("jna.library.path", PATH_TO_DLL); then i see "UnsatisfiedLinkError: Unable to

[OS X] How to link kernel32.lib.so with OS X XCode project?
Hi
Please tell me how can I use parts of WINE / WineLib (mainly Kernel32 library implementation) in Mac OS XCode projects?
I tried to link kernel32.lib.so with a test application, which used one of the Kernel32 functions - GetCurrentDirectoryA(), but got a linker error, which was not able to resolve this function :?
The most puzzling thing is that if I run otool on Kernel32.lib.so, it says the

viewing a subset of folders in dumb IMAP clients
I have several dozen IMAP folders (stored as Maildir++). When I'm on
the go with my iPhone, I only want to see a few of them.
My naive solution that didn't work:
1) create an alternate login that yields my existing permissions and
mail folder, but stores its own version of metadata
2) configure the iPhone to use that login
3) subscribe to the folders I want
I test-drove the

I have tried the same tests using the "test" driver, and that works
perfectly; no errors seen.

using ddply but preserving some of the outside data
I have a bit of a quandy. I'm working with a data set for which I
have sampled sites at a variety of dates. I want to use this data,
and get a running average of the sampled values for the current and
previous date.
I originally thought something like ddply would be ideal for this,
however, I cannot break up my data by date, and then apply a function
that requires information

Problemas usando jri0.4-1 y R 2.7.0

Re: [libvirt] JVM crashes during GC
[Update]
Instead of passing an auth callback to Connect, if I store the credentials
in an INI file and pass the file path as authfile URI parameter, I dont see
these errors.

Re: [libvirt] JVM crashes during GC
Note: A couple of times I have seen errors while closing the connection
(the trace ending with virFree). Also, a few times I have seen backtraces
which show the flow going via esx driver and finally failing to close
connection. Unfortunately I dont have those logs anymore.
The execution results I have shared have been obtained using Libvirt built
from source using the following config parameters:
