[PATCH] drm/nv04: fix null pointer dereferences of native_mode
Subject: [PATCH] drm/nv04: fix null pointer dereferences of native_mode
nv_connector->native_mode is not set when no modes were found for the
connector, so its existence can't be assumed.
In nv04_dfp_mode_fixup, reject the mode if GPU scaling is enabled but
native mode is not known.
In nv04_dfp_mode_set, use clock value from nv_encoder->mode instead of
nv_connector->native_mode. If

[PATCH] drm/nouveau: provide ctxprog/ctxvals in ihex format
Firmware files in firmware/ directory are not expected to be in binary
format. The nouveau files are in binary format, and are therefore
removed when running e.g. make clean.
Fix that by converting them to ihex format instead.
The patch is really big as it contains the ctxprogs stuff, so I'll
provide a link instead:

Fix for potential nouveau-ddx/x-server crash on XOrg 1.12+
Hi all,
the following patch fixes a race-condition in the nouveau
ddx which caused frequent x-server crashes for at least 1
user under some loads when OpenGL triple-buffering is enabled,
which it is by default on XOrg 1.12 and later.
As a side effect, it provides a small optimization for the
common case of bufferswap at next vblank.
The other way to avoid the race + possible crash is

Shorewall in Mandriva
Hi Tom and folks,
Mandriva is shipping shorewall in its main distribution for some time
now. It is built on a custom .spec, but I keep it in sync with latest
versions of shorewall package.
I heard that there were some issues with Mandriva''s package of
shorewall, but it was before I started working on it, and the guys that
were maintaining it before are no longer working on it.

I've setup rsync 3.0.0 pre5 on distrib-coffee.ipsl.jussieu.fr (rsync server)

Someone reported this failure:

linking problems of dovecot 2.0.3
Hello,
I'm currently packaging dovecot 2.0.3 under Mandriva Linux. It has
been using LDFLAGS="-Wl,--as-needed -Wl,--no-undefined" for shared
libraries for over two years[1]. And I've found there are lots of
linking problems with dovecot 2.0.3.
After some investigation, I've made small patch regarding dovecot
2.0.3, posted here:

Problems with Mesa 6.5.2 and open drivers ("driving" me crazy)
OK,
I'm sure this has been mentioned before but I'm really struggling now!
The problem is best described here:
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=9456
I've added my own Mandriva cooker bug here:
http://qa.mandriva.com/show_bug.cgi?id=27971
People also make reference to the issue here:

Has anyone got any ideas?

Wine and mandriva 2006
I've just installed mandriva 2006, I was using mandriva LE and
wine-0.9.2-mdk under which terragen (http://www.planetside.co.uk/) ran
pretty well and I registered the program which enables me to use
various large terrain sizes.
However with the 2006 install and wine-0.9.2-mdk whenever I try to
load a terrain file (saved from terragen) with the large terrain size
or change the setting to use

Here's what happens. I install wine 0.9.13 from rpm and winetools. I

Mandriva Spring 2007 and R
I am new to Linux (not to R) and recently installed Mandriva Spring 2007 on my partitioned hard drive. My next objective is to install R in the Linux environment, unfortunately Mandriva is not one of the Linux distributions available for download... Could someone please let me know which distribution I should use?
Thanks.

compiling issues with Mandriva Linux 2007 Discovery
All,
I am a new user to Linux but I am familiar with R. I have previously
used and installed R on a Windows platform without problems. I recently
set up a dual boot system (XP_64, Mandriva) to run R on a Linux platform
in order to more efficiently handle large datasets. I have not done
compiling before, but read the R instructions and followed to my best
ability. I downloaded the most recent
