Hi, everyone,
I installed the Xen3.1.0 based on Fedora8 and enter the Dom0 successfully.
The kernel of dom0 is linux-2.6.18-xen0. But the Xorg could not start in
the Dom0. When I use the "startx" command to start the X server, the error
information is following:

Latest kernel crashes X and gnome
Hi,
Anyone else having problems with kernel 3.10.0-957.5.1.el7.x86_64?
After my yum update today a reboot hung. A quick look at the Xorg.0.log
shows two of my graphics cards appear to be working okay but the third
one (I have two nvidia cards with a monitor each and then use the
inbuilt intel one for the third monitor) gives:

A lot of laptop (from mac, hp, samsung) doesn't have laptop_panel in hal, and

Your first email about your efi/udp.c patch seems to be part of another
email thread, and not a separate email thread as it was supposed to be.
See
http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2016-February/thread.html#24866
and scroll up.

rgl, openmesa, nvidia. Oh my!
I've caused a new problem for myself. I wonder if you have seen it.
On Ubuntu 9.04 I had a lot of hangs with the nvidia packages and so I
updated to the 185 edition on this website:
https://launchpad.net/~nvidia-vdpau/+archive/ppa
The video drivers are much better! However, I notice now I don't have
all of the working pieces of the X11/openGL development toolkit in
order to compile R

Wine installed... but not?
Hey,
I've got a Ubuntu 11.10 system I use as my home server. I installed wine on it a little while ago and everything was working great, I was using it to run Air Video Server.
At some point when I was installing new display drivers to enable GPU acceleration in XBMC Air Video Server stopped loading on boot. When I tried to fix it, I found that the system was acting like wine was not

LXC + USB passthrough = Operation not permitted
Hi!
First post, kind of a noobie. I've been working with LXC and libvirt for a
few months now. Trying to do some interesting things with containers and
Android devices :D
I'm running ubuntu 13.10 with LXC 1.0.1 and tried both libvirt 1.1.1 and
1.2.2 (backported from ubuntu-trusty), but with either version of libvirt
am getting issues as soon as I try to get access to USB devices inside

When can the dominator tree not contain a node for a basic block?
When looking into https://llvm.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?id=24866, I
discovered that the root cause of the crash is that I was expecting
every basic block to have a corresponding Node in the dominator tree.
Apparently, the "while.end" basic block in the example does not have a
Node in the Dominator Tree. Can anyone tell me if this is expected?
If so, under what circumstances?

Wine & ATI
I'm suing an Aspire 5050 laptop with and AMD Turion64 and Radeon X1100
Running Kubuntu Hardy, Wine-1.0, latest version of Xorg

Running with the fglrx drivers generally doesn't seem to bode well... video playback is slow and any attempt to run wine with d3d crashes. For
