odfWeave examples not working
Hi, I'm currently taking a look at possibilities to report my results, produced by R. After looking at LaTex, I'm now considering the odf format, as most people at my company work with MS Word. So using odfWeave would be my best bet probably. But if I run some examples from the odfWeave package, I cant open the output in Open Office: demoFile <- system.file("examples",

odfWeave: odt-file damaged
Dear all, I'm resurrecting this old post (about 6 monts old, reproduced thereafter) because I have struggled against the same problem and found a solution so that I found it was worth posting for the record. The simple fix when you want to use odfWeave with 7-ZIP as a compressing/decompressing utility under windows is to use the 'x' instead of the 'e' option so as to preserve

odfWeave: odt-file damaged
Dear all, I am doing my first steps with odfWeave. After running the r code (see below), I am trying to open the ODF-document with open office, but I am getting the error message: "The file is damaged, but it can be repaired". If I confirm the question and repair the file with open office, I can open it with the desired output, which seems to be fine. My system: R Version 2.9.1

odfWeave & prettyR
Hello, I've been trying to use odfWeave and prettyR packages to create documents with both text and graphs, but so far I haven't been very lucky... With the function R2html () in prettyR package, when I try to use a source file, which works perfectly if I run it directly form R using "source("file")", it works for the first part and then it makes a mess, i guess

How to findout the name of a dataframe
Let'say we have a dataframe mydata with column v1. If mydata$v1 is passed to a function, is there way, then, to extract the name of the dataframe? What I now do is passing the name of the dataframe to the funcion, so passing two parameters. Maybe with mydata$v1 it is not possible, but with mydata['v1'] or mydata[,'v1'] it is? odfWeave Version 0.4.4
Version 0.4.4 of odfWeave is available from CRAN. A Windows binary should be available shortly. This version requires base R version 2.3.1 or greater. Changes from the last version include - Non-English character sets are handled better. For example, Chinese characters can be included in R code. See the file "testCases.odt" in the examples directory for an example - Image

Contingency Table - output to odfWeave not working for matrix
Hi guys I'm hoping someone can help me with this. It should be easy but it seems to get stuck for no obvious reason! I am trying to set a report up in odfWeave so that we can re-run the same analysis at 3 time points as the data matures and provide an 'instant' report. To simplify the situation we have two pieces of data: site_id (numerical value 1-9) and reaction (categorical Y or
