new libvirt: CentOS 6.2 versus 6.0
Hi,
About half a year ago I installed a stock CentOS 6.0/64bit onto an Intel
server to virtualize our Linux fileserver and four WinXP boxes with rdp each.
Since recent times I didn't do any upgrades of the server's OS. Now I have
CentOS 6.2.
After an upgrade I noticed that all virtual cpu name changed to

Re: Fwd: Haswell 4770 misidentified as Sandy Bridge
Kashyap: I have not tried integrating your guest xml but I will look over
it today when I get a chance. Thank you.
Martin: Below is the output from /proc/cpuinfo. Let me know if there is
anything else that would be helpful in debugging this. Thank you,

CentOS 6.2 / kvm / Windows XP sp3 guest crashes repeatedly after a few minutes
Hello to all:
Recently upgraded from CentOS 6.0 to 6.2 to get USB passthrough support by
performing "yum update". USB passthrough works great, but now my Windows XP
sp3 guest crashes repeatedly after a few minutes.

guest OS is also a Debian 7 system running a non-SMP kernel. The error
message from virt-manager is

virt-manager and virt-install can''t use with new built xvm 3.3
Hi Dave,
I built successfully an xvm 3.3 system. However, I found virt-manager
and virt-install don''t work. I attached the error messages of both as
below.
xm tool seems to work. I can run OpenSolaris200811 LiveCD and install
it onto file based disk.
The error messages of virt-manager:

virt-install error: "virDomainLookupByName() failed got unknown HTTP error code 400"
Hi there,
I've been happily installing VMs in CentOS 5.2's Xen implementation using virt-manager. However, my latest attempt to use the install wizard in virt-manager failed when I got to the networking screen. The 'forward' button was unresponsive, and I was unable to proceed. I checked the virt-manager logs, and saw this appearing immediately after I tried to proceed:
