[LLVMdev] Reorganizing the documentation.
Hi Daniel, Bill, all,
Now that the Sphinx conversion is done, I'm going to move forward with
the plan which was discussed in
<http://thread.gmane.org/gmane.comp.compilers.llvm.cvs/115358>.
The first step is going to be to inline all of the pages that are just
below the current homepage (subsystems.rst, programming.rst, etc.)
into the homepage, bringing back {Ctrl,Cmd}-f'ability.

What is exactly PuppetShow?
... or better, what is intended to be? I''ve seen references to PuppetShow in
IRC, mailing lists and documentation, but still have no clear idea of what
it is. Is it just a reporting tool? Will you be able to create manifests or
configure nodes from it?
Thanks, best regards
Jose

Puppet and Cfengine Differences
Hello,
I''ve recently begun looking at Puppet as an alternative to Cfengine and I
have a couple of questions.
1) Besides the information posted on the Puppet website, are there any
critical differences between Puppet and Cfengine?
2) Does Puppet allow for client-specific file text manipulation. For
instance, in Cfengine I can add a line of text to a file if the line doesn''t

Hi all
How do I get the latest version of puppetshow?
git clone git://reductivelabs.com/puppetshow

I tried http://github.com/shadoi/puppetshow/tree/master version but I
can not make it work
When I go to http://localhost:3000 I get:

pserver.netfilter.org CVS tree reorganization
--+9faIjRurCDpBc7U

Hi!
As many of you will have noticed already, I took the liberty to reorganize
the CVS tree structure. This was needed to get a better seperation
between independent parts of the project. =20

IRC Milestone
I know this is a basically meaningless milestone, but for some reason it
means something to me.
For the first time (as far as I know), #puppet on irc.freenode.net has
more users than #cfengine: 21 vs. 19.
Admittedly, that''s a low user count for #cfengine, but I''ll take it.

Proposal: On re-purposing/reorganizing MIR sigils ('&', '$', '%').
Can we use %% for vregs? Seems slightly easier to remember %/%% than $/%.
Also, %eax and $some_symbol are already familiar from typical assembly
syntax and we probably don't want to break that association.
It's all a bikeshed, but being more consistent with assembly is probably a
win.

Proposal: On re-purposing/reorganizing MIR sigils ('&', '$', '%').
Hi
A few of us have discussed enhancing the MIR vregs to include support for
named-vregs. At the moment named regs are only supported for physical
registers and number regs are reserved for vregs.
We've decided that to properly implement a syntax for MIR named vregs we
first need to reorganized the sigils used for physical registers and
external symbols so our proposal is to swap the sigil

CFengine vs. Puppet on sage.org
Hi all,
If anyone on the list happens to be on the sage mailing list, a couple
of people are debating the relative merits of Puppet and cfengine:

Proposal: On re-purposing/reorganizing MIR sigils ('&', '$', '%').
When we discussed this our line of thought was like this:
- LLVM IR already uses %name for SSA values which is closer to what a vreg is than to what a physreg is. It would be neat to draw that parallel to llvm IR.
- We wanted another sigil for physregs so they are easy to differentiate from vregs to allow people to differentiate vregs/physregs even if they don't know all the physreg names of

[PATCH 00/10] Patched cleaning up Opus x86 intrinsics configury
Thanks to Jean-Marc and Tim explaining 'git rebase -i' to me, I've factored my reorganization of
the Opus Intrinsics configury into a number of hopefully more comprehensible (and thus more
reviewable) pieces.
This applies to the current tip of Opus Master in git.
Viswanath's Ne10 changes require some slight modification to apply on top of these patches,
but nothing major.

Hi CentOS-Docs Team!
I got distracted and didn't re-read the "contribute to the wiki"
instructions before sending off a message to this list (I'm subscribed to
Docs now for sure!). So my initial message hit the bit bucket 'cause I
wasn't subscribed (d'oh!).
