Has anyone else noticed that a lot of rails powered sites (eg, typo blogs, http://dev.rubyonrails.org/, etc) have been taking a long time to render pages or are not resolving at all? I installed dovecot 2.0.8 (+postfix, fetchmail) on a small server to manage several e-mail accounts. I love this software! Is there any reason why releases have EoL dates after only 12 months? While it's clear that some sort of EoL is important, I can't think of any security advisories recently which weren't accompanied by patches for all the security branches, even those which are no longer officially supported.
