[LLVMdev] More code owners needed
Hi, I've been going through my queue of candidate patches for the 3.6 branch, and I think the process could be smoother if we had more code owners. So, I'd like to encourage people to nominate themselves or others as code owners for any part of LLVM that doesn't already have one. The responsibilities of a code owner include reviewing patches submitted to llvm-commits and approving

Currently no Java for Linux-Mozilla on 4-Stable?
Hey folks, I was trying to install a jvm for the linux-mozilla port on 4-stable. 4-stable of yesterday (updated) and all ports of yesterday except as indicated. I am through all of them, blackdown-1.3, blackdown-1.4.2, checked out the previous blackdown-1.4.1, Sun-1.3.1 and Sun-1.4.2. Most of them have incompatible C++ interfaces to the current linux-mozilla, except blackdown-1.4.2, which

[LLVMdev] New type of smart pointer for LLVM
Ping - we've hit another of these (propagating Diagnostic::OwnsDiagClient into other places) in http://llvm.org/viewvc/llvm-project?view=revision&revision=221884 Any ideas how we should be tackling this overall? I'm not entirely convinced these are fixable by design and I think we might honestly want a conditional-ownership smart pointer... But I'm happy to hold off on that a

[LLVMdev] New type of smart pointer for LLVM
[+cfe-dev] This conversation has already been happening on llvm-dev so there's no good way for me to capture the entire existing discussion (so I'm jumping you in part-way) & the subject line could be more descriptive, but I wanted to add Clang developers since many of the interesting cases of conditional ownership I've seen were in Clang. I know some of you are also on llvm-dev

Unless in exec doesn''t seem to be honored on notify.
This was a fun one to track down... I was trying to use the append_if_no_such_line script from the wiki and it was working fine EXCEPT when I threw a notify at it. The notify appears to completely ignore both unless and onlyif within the exec for some reason. If I put the same test in the actual command line, it works fine. Example: unless => "/bin/grep -Fqe ''$line''

jinfo, jboss and ExtendedDTraceProbes
Hi, I would like to use dtrace to observe some behaviour in my J2EE app running in JBoss. I start JBoss normally in a 1.6 VM. When I try to enable set the ExtendedDTraceProbes flag using jinfo, I get a thread dump in the JBoss console and the message: "Unable to open door: target process not responding or HotSpot VM not loaded" in the jinfo console. I have tried this with both

[PATCH] v2v: Fix RPM file owned test (RHBZ#1503958).
Linux.file_owner is not used by any other function, so remove it. Linux.is_file_owned is only used when removing kmod-xenpv on old RHEL releases, and so is only required to work for RPM. The old file_owner/is_file_owned functions were completely broken. This replaces them with a simpler, working implementation that only covers the narrow use case of removing kmod-xenpv non-owned directories.
