Heads up: New if_xl committed
As promised, the updated if_xl with full busdma support / other improvements has been MFC'd to 4.8-stable. While I have put this driver through extensive testing, it is possible that there may be bugs which are either present in the -current version or that I added in the MFC process. So, if you cvsup to -stable anytime in the future and notice problems with if_xl, please tell me ASAP!

MFC of reentrant realpath.c
Hi, I've seen that this commit never got MFC'd: http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/src/lib/libc/stdlib/realpath.c?rev=1.14&content-type=text/x-cvsweb-markup Would it be possible to do that or are there any objections out there ? 4.20.0-rc3 nouveau/Quadro P2000 Mobile: runpm causing ACPI errors, lockups
this was already debugged and there is no point in searching inside the Firmware. It's not a firmware bug or anything. The proper fix is to do something inside Nouveau so that we don't upset the device and being able to runtime resume it again. The initial thing we do inside Nouveau to cause those issues is to run that so called "DEVINIT" script inside the vbios to initialize

Multi Server Exim/Dovecot and NFS
In reading the Dovecot NFS WIKI entry: http://wiki2.dovecot.org/NFS It mentions a FreeBSD NFS client caching bug. I believe that bug only exists pre-8.x ? It seems that a patch in the PR notes was MFC'd and made it into 8.x at some point. (at least I checked the source in 8.3 and it was there). So I assume that FreeBSD 8.x mitigates the issue? Maybe not? So our deployment is multi

acpidump crashes on some machines
Hi, we have some problems with acpidump running on Xen Dom0. On 64 bit Dom0 it will trigger the OOM killer, on 32 bit Dom0s it will cause a kernel crash. The hypervisor does not matter, I tried 4.1.3-rc2 as well as various unstable versions including 25467, also 32-bit versions of 4.1. The Dom0 kernels were always PVOPS versions, the problems starts with 3.2-rc1~194 and is still in 3.5.0-rc3.

ACPI Warning, then hang
I'm getting the following warning, and then the system locks: ACPI Warning: Incorrect checksum in table [(bunch of spaces)] - 0x29, should be 0x48 Here's a pic: http://db.tt/O6dxONzI System is on a SuperMicro C7X58 motherboard that I just upgraded to BIOS 2.0a, which I would like to stay on if possible. I tried adjusting all the ACPI related BIOS settings without success. Bryce

Bug or not?
Hi Pierre, No worries about the response time. I remember when the features matrix was mostly todo's. Clearly you folks have put in a ton of work. I would feel bad about trying to shove a developer into my problem and I do not have the time right now to join the development team. Besides my day job I am currently writing a library to interpret BSDL files (JTAG). I am having a bit of trouble
