SUCCESS: OpenSSH_6.7p1-snap20150220
Compiled OK, and operating nicely on CentOS 6.6, both 32/64 bit. Really appreciate the UpdateHostkeys feature! One issue I noticed, the screen output gets garbled if the user has been "asked" to "Accept" the new hostkeys. Looks like the screen output is missing the CR's, and only LF's get presented. [LLVMdev] Compiler Centric Career Opportunities in finance
Hi -- I'm working with a number of finance companies in New York City and Chicago which are looking to develop languages and platforms in order to process extremely large datasets. As such, we are looking for people with experience and / or interest in programming language and compiler design -- hence my posting on the LLVM mailing list. Goldman Sachs most famously developed Slang and

Current pxelinux always unloads undi driver
Pedro, Thanks for the feedback. HPA and all, Since we have confirmation that this patch fixes keeppxe (for the memdisk use case) for at least one other person, could we get it into the next syslinux release? http://www.syslinux.org/archives/2016-June/025216.html -- Adam On Sat, Dec 24, 2016 at 02:09:14PM +0100, Pedro Koschi wrote: > Hello Adam , thanx . Current pxelinux always unloads undi driver
Good day, I have the problem to pass the ?loaded? undi driver to the next bootloader. In current pxelinux ?lernel memdisk keeppxe harddisk raw initrd::parh_to_img? always unloads undi before memdisk (or other kernel) takes control. After many tries I found that the keeppxe feature is broken starting from version 6.03 pre 9. I tried to find the reason by comparing sources 6.03 pre 8 / 6.03

acts_as_tree elegant tree printing
Hi, I''m working with acts_as_tree to print an unordered list of items: Root -- Child ---- Child I''ve got this working, however I''d like to know if there is a more elegant fashion that I''m unaware of: #Takes a parent category and recursivley returns all children def find_all_subcategories(category) if category.children.size > 0

samba, openldap, smbldap tools
Hi- I'musing the smbldap tools to create ldap entries for user logins through samba. I was just wondering if anyone knew what format userPassword is stored in. Is it an md5 hash? summary: Generalized linear mixed model software
Thanks to those who responded to my inquiry about generalized linear mixed models on R and S-plus. Before I summarize the software, I note that there are several ways of doing statistical inference for generalized linear mixed models: (1)Standard maximum likelihood estimation, computationally intensive due to intractable likelihood function (2) Penalized quasi likelihood or similar

Fwd: more on Free World Dialup groups and FWDLive
FYI It looks like FWD is looking for value added service ideas for free as a volunteer. I think it will fail but we shall see. I really don't get the nerve of them (Free World Dialup has changed it's name to FWD) to ask for free ideas and development on a non-free service. Maybe if they can come up with a killer app and people will adopt it, then it might work, but then again, people

Wiki restructure
Hi all, Now that there is an effort underway to improve the look/theme of the Wiki. I would like to discuss the content of the wiki. IMO there are too many links on the frontpage. With a new theme, the News/Events items on top can go into a sidebar, so that will be taken care of the news items. I will not discuss them here. But currently, there is little structure in all the links/titles on the

[PATCH] Fix recognition of keeppxe option
PXELINUX has stopped recognizing the keeppxe option on the kernel command line. Here is a patch to make it work again. With COM32, it is no longer possible to use preprocessor directives to determine the SYSLINUX variant. The code inside the #if will never be compiled. So, I changed it to use syslinux_filesystem() to determine the variant. Also, I moved the relevant code from

bit length overflow?
I'm getting messages that look like this: bit length overflow code 6 bits 6->7 in rsync-2.5.1pre3 (and in 2.4.7pre4) Is that an error, or a piece of verbose logging? the return code was zero, which makes me think that everything's okay. -- Daniel Sadinoff, Goldman, Sachs & Co 212-357-9608 daniel.sadinoff@gs.com

Xen bridge + iptables FORWARD
Hi all, I have Xen 3.2 newly installed on Lenny with network bridging configured. When I built my first VM, I found it couldn''t connect to the Internet. This turned out to be because my dom0''s iptables was configured to DROP all packets on the FORWARD chain (when I removed that, it started working). The "Xen Networking" page on the wiki describes this exact situation

Current pxelinux always unloads undi driver
The git version of syslinux won't solve your problem. It doesn't have the keeppxe patch at this time. I can't help you to get pxelinux to load ldlinux.c32. I didn't write syslinux. I've Cc'd the mailing list. Maybe someone there can help you. -- Adam On Sun, Nov 27, 2016 at 07:38:53PM +0100, Pedro Koschi wrote: > Hello Adam, > I was able to compile syslinux in

buffer overflow in receive_file_entry
I have rsync 2.6.6 on unix source to a cygwin setup on a Windows 2003 server. Was working well, then I moved a folder down one subdirectory and started getting the following. I assume this means it is having problems with the length of the file name? I have the same problem with long file names using cwRsync. Are there any options other than modifying the file names? backup# ./820.remote-backup

Long file names
I believe this post I found is related to a problem I'm having with long files names...I would like to use cwRsync, does my problem suggest this is still happening and has not been addressed? http://lists.samba.org/archive/rsync/2005-April/012117.html However, I have long file name issues using rsync 2.6.6 from a BSD server to the default Cygwin rsync 2.6.6. Should I (and how do I) apply
