hardware needed for OCFS
Hi,
Does OCFS require NAS hardware to run or does normal PC hard disk work?
Thanks,
Pete

Redundant firewall
Hi,
I hope this is not OT. I searched through the archives but didn''t find
anything really answering my question.
I want to create a cluster of two firewalls with Linux-HA so that if
the primary fail, the secondary firewall will take over. Note that I
don''t care about syncing states between firewalls, they will just have
to reconnect :)
It''s a typical

Dial / Ring multiple sip channels
I know I can dial multiple channels in sequence
exten => 101,1,Dial(SIP/101,10)
exten => 101,2,Dial(SIP/102,10)
extne => 101,3,Dial(Zap/1/5551212)
What the boss would really like is to be able to ring 2 lines
simultaneously.

so that both extensions ring at the same time... mostly so that he can

Incoming IAX2 problems with NuFone
I've been using NuFone with Asterisk for a while, but I've started
seeing this error with incoming calls:

ideas? I googled for the

Cannot mount gluster volume
Hi,
We recently installed glusterfs 3.3.1. We have a 3 brick gluster system running
that was being successfully mounted earlier. Yesterday we experienced a
power outage and now after rebooting our systems, we are unable to mount
this gluster file system. On the gluster client, a df -h command shows 41TB
out of 55TB, while an ls command shows broken links for directories and
missing files.

Targeting Bugs for GlusterFS 3.3 Beta 3
This is a list of bugs that Vijay has tagged for the 3.3.0 beta3 milestone:

Please take a look and see if any of them impact you. If so, feel free to add comments, and do please test fixes as they become available.
You are, of course, welcome to submit patches as well,

Clustering
Hello All,
Ive been doing more and more research on trying to setup a cluster/load
balancer for Asterisk. All the Asterisk boxes would be using a config that
is the same between them all (via a DB), but we want one location to point
the phones to, and from there that machine/device will send it to a Asterisk
server so the call can be processed. I know you cant balance the whole call,
ie: once the

Problems with scsi-target-utils when hosted on dom0 centos 7 xen box
By natively, I take it using
kernel /vmlinuz (vs kernel /xen)
Not yet, but working on setting up such an environment.
(At this time, I was using virt-install to reproduce the problem, and
the original server we are testing on did not support kvm but the 2nd
server does).

Attempting to use tproxy on Centos 8 fails with 'No such file or directory'
I was working on a haproxy transparent proxy setup that we had working
on Centos 7 (iptables), but running into issues getting tproxy working
with NFTables on Centos 8.

It should be a matter of:
# nft add table filter
# nft add chain filter divert "{ type filter hook prerouting priority -150; }"

[3.3 beta3] When should the self-heal daemon be triggered?
Hi,
I eventually installed three Debian unstable machines, so I could
install the GlusterFS 3.3 beta3.
I have a question about the self-heal daemon.
I'm trying to get a volume which is replicated, with two bricks.
I started up the volume, wrote some data, then killed one machine, and
then wrote more data to a few folders from the client machine.
Then I restarted the second brick server.

3.2.6 or 3.3
Hello list,
We have been using 3.2.6 the last few months and are reasonably happy with it.
I am about to build a new file server (to replace the existing solution) and now have to decide to either stick with 3.2.6 (because we know it works) or upgrade to 3.3.
Main use will be a few distributed, replicated volumes on two servers with maybe a dozen or so clients.
Secondary use will be a

Rev Your (RDMA) Engines for the RDMA GlusterFest
It's that time again ? we want to test the GlusterFS 3.4 beta before
we unleash it on the world. Like our last test fest, we want you to
put the latest GlusterFS beta through real-world usage scenarios that
will show you how it compares to previous releases. Unlike the last
time, we want to focus this round of testing on Infiniband and RDMA
hardware.
For a description of how to do this, see

We were attempting to use scsi-target-utils, hosted on a xen dom0 vm

reproduce this on a centos 7.2 server using the default kernel.

GlusterFS performance
GlusterFS newbie (less than a week) here. Running GlusterFS 3.2.6 servers
on Dell PE2900 systems with four 3.16 GHz Xeon cores and 16 GB memory
under CentOS 5.8.
For this test, I have a distributed volume of one brick only, so no
replication. I have made performance measurements with both dd and
Bonnie++, and they confirm each other; here I report only the dd numbers
(using bs=1024k). File

DTMF Tones
I have tried beta2, beta3 and now back to 1.2.12.1 and I have correct
DTMF tones 25% of the time. I have to call several times to enter an
extension. I have a router and a packet shaper and some other stuff.
Anyone have any other ideas why this might happen. I do not have any
Zap channels but I am running CentOS4. I also do not have any cards
installed. Thanks
