gnutls bug
I am running centos6.4. Where do I find the updated gnutls packages? I see the updated source file here: http://vault.centos.org/6.5/updates/Source/SPackages/ But I don't see the correct version of the packages in the 6.4 tree here: http://vault.centos.org/6.4/updates/x86_64/Packages/ Where should I be looking for the updated package for 6.4? Thanks. -- -MichaelC

CentOS Extras SRPMs for 7.1 / 7.2
Hello, I noticed that recent source repositories for CentOS Extras packages do not have SRPMs for each available RPM. In particular, I wanted to download the SRPM for cloud-init. After enabling the extras-source repository, `yumdownloader --source cloud-init` doesn't find any package. This used to work on CentOS 7.0. See the content of the following two repos:

what scheduling algorithm does KVM use?
This may not be the best place to ask, but I was prompted by a question about guest cores on KVM. We currently use VMWare Server (v1.0) on CentOS5. It supports up to two virtual CPUs, but not very well, as I understand it. VMWare Server 2.0 might do better at supporting the same maximum of 2 CPUs, but if my research is correct, they both use what is called "strict co-scheduling".

where to get kernel source

problems with yum_priorities on CentOS5/RHEL5
Hello, Many of you will have read this page, with its (somewhat ambiguous) endorsement of yum_priorities: http://wiki.centos.org/AdditionalResources/Repositories/RPMForge As I gather has been stated before on the centos list [1], that quote stops short of outlining what exactly is wrong with yum_priorities (YP) and why it's the best solution. In fact it goes on to say: > as of yet, no

Glibc sources?
All, Please excuse any ignorance in this e-mail as I am not a RH/CentOS/Fedora user and may blunder my way through the correct terminology for my request. I'm tasked with reconstructing the CentOS version of the GlibC library for testing with gethostbyname(). My mission is to show that we are not affected by the latest exploit for the product we are shipping targeted for RHEL and CentOS.

Intel e1000e driver bug and 82574L controller
One of the more promising solutions I'm looking at for my dual-ethernet dual-monitor workstation contains an Intel 82574L Ethernet controller. I found a LOT of postings regarding a bug in the driver for this controller: http://www.doxer.org/learn-linux/resolved-intel-e1000e-driver-bug-on-82574l-ethernet-controller-causing-network-blipping/ https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=632650
