[PATCH] Fix small issues in documentations of APIs
- fix names of arguments & optional arguments in C<..> markers - use https for URLs where possible - fix links to other guestfs APIs - use more C<..> markers for special tests, shell commands, values of arguments, and names of fields - link to command man pages where an explicit command is mentioned - fix few incorrect documentation bits --- generator/actions_augeas.ml

[PATCH 0/6] Update the way that API versions are generated for the man page.
The existing mechanism was clunky, slow and used ~ 10 MB of local disk. Rich.

Nothing new in the virt-tail command itself, but the second commit includes a simple test. Rich.

[PATCH] New tool: virt-tail.
This adds a new tool which does a follow operation (ie. tail -f) on one or more log/text files inside the guest. I've only done limited testing, but it works for me for tailing various long-running builds inside guests which I'm doing at the moment. There are no tests at present. Rich.

[PATCH v3 0/2] New tool: virt-tail.
Since v2: - Fix the things that Pino mentioned, except the recursion. - Implement Windows support. For Windows support to be sane, I had to inline the add_and_mount code. Rich.

How can I change exit on error behaviour in remote control mode ?
Hi, all: In remote control mode of guestfish, the server will normally exit if there is an error in a command. guestfish man page said if we prefix a command with a - character, then that command will not cause guestfish to exit, but this doesn't work in remote control mode, seems the prefixal '-' in sub-command won't be handled by guestfish. -------------- $ eval `guestfish

The exit code makes user confused while using '-' prefixed subcommands
guestfish returns 0 if the commands completed without error, or 1 if there was an error. But the rule break when we use '-' prefix subcommands: ------------------------------------ $ guestfish <<\EOF > blabla > EOF blabla: unknown command $ echo $? 1 $ guestfish <<\EOF -blabla EOF blabla: unknown command $ echo $? 0 ------------------------------------ I think it should

appliance/make.sh won't update when re-configure with new mirror (or updates) url
Hi, all: When I re-configure in the source directory, and then make the build. It will use the previous urls of mirror and updates which I specified via --with-mirror and --with-updates. for example: the previous command line I used is: 1. $ ./autogen.sh --with-mirror='http://wrongurl/fedora/os/' --with-updates='http://wrongurl/fedora/updates' --with-repo='wrong_repo' 2. $

[PATCH 0/3] Fix guestfish edit command.
This is a further, more comprehensive fix for https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=788641 The guestfish 'edit' command (aka 'emacs', 'vi') suffered from the same problems as virt-edit and more. It could have failed and left a partially overwritten file, and it didn't preserve permissions etc from the original file. These three patches fix all this. The first

Anything but Aptana
Not trying to get into a "What''s a good IDE" here, BUT....On Windows....RadRails never cut it. Under Aptana, it''s a terrible joke, and I''m sick of losing so much time waiting not only for this thing to initialize, but the hanging and crashing I go through is killing me. Please, someone....point me to a decent, lightweight IDE. All i want is syntax coloring.

S.M.A.R.T
At my physics lab we have 30 servers with 1TB disk packs. I am in need of monitoring for disk failures. I have been reading about SMART and it seems it can help. However, I am not sure what to look for if a drive is about to fail. Any thoughts about this? Is anyone using this method to predetermine disk failures? TIA
