MeetMe -> ConfBridge: hint not working
I'm trying to migrate from MeetMe to ConfBridge: [conferences] exten=>_8[1-9],1,Answer() ;;exten=>_8[1-9],1,Meetme(${EXTEN},1Ms,1234) exten=>_8[1-9],2,ConfBridge(${EXTEN},1Ms) exten=>_8[1-9],n,Hangup And that works. Also changed the hints: ;;exten => 81,hint,MeetMe:81 exten => 81,hint,ConfBridge:81 ;;exten => 82,hint,MeetMe:82 exten => 82,hint,ConfBridge:82 ;;exten

Confbridge GUI?
I have a very old server that is used only for conferences on Meetme. To manage the conference rooms we use Web Meetme. Now it is time to upgrade everything but since Meetme is no longer available I need to find a replacement GUI to manage the conference rooms. Anyone know a solution that works with Confbridge? I found "Asterisk Confbridge Manager" from a russian company but it

meetme vs confbridge max user comparison wanted
I've got some Asterisk 11 (I could 'upgrade' if needed) hosts using meetme and I'd like to switch to confbridge to service more callers. Can anyone reply with their experience along the lines of 'using meetme I was only getting x callers per server but with confbridge I now get y callers per server?' -- Thanks in advance,

confbridge manager/cli
I've just started switching my project to use confbridge instead of meetme and app_conference (because of audio glitches that kept appearing in those applications). However, I can't find any way to interact with an existing confbridge conference. Surely there's some equivalent to meetme's 'meetme list' command? Anything else I can use through the cli or manager API? I

Confbridge doesn't kick chan_local
I have a confbridge setup that feeds the conference from the ALSA microphone input (this is the conference leader) and then uses app_ices to send the conference audio to icecast. I start the conference leader like this: console dial 1000_admin at conferences I join the ices user to the confbridge with a call file: Channel: Local/1000 at conferences MaxRetries: 2 RetryTime: 60 WaitTime: 30

Questions on converting to ConfBridge
I'm looking at what would be involved in converting from MeetMe to ConfBridge and there seems to be a lot of missing administrative things, but I hope I'm just missing it. We all know about the missing realtime linkage. That's a major nuisance, but can be worked around. More serious is that the CLI command to display users in a ConfBridge don't show the caller ID information, so

Meetme define context
Hi All, I'm still having trouble trying to figure out if it is possible to define (in the dial plan) a context for meetme? I'm using 1.4.4 with dialplan logic of: exten => 123,1,Meetme(,Msa,) This defaults to conferences defined within the rooms context of meetme.conf Is it possible to specify another context as with voicemail? Or can any one think of another

ConfBridge 1.6.20 user count
Hi all, I'm using ConfBridge within Asterisk 1.6.20 and want to record the conference, so I'd like to start the recording when the second user joins, so in the example below, for example, how can I get the current user count in ConfBridge 3000? [conferences] ;authenticated conference (ext C-O-N-F = 2663) exten => 2663,1,Answer same => n,Wait(1) same => n,Authenticate(143382)

chan_alsa and confbridge
OK, somebody may have a much better way of doing what I'm attempting. If so, I'm open to suggestions. I am trying to configure confbridge to create a "conference" room with an audio stream coming from my sound card. The idea is for a group of people to be able to call in and listen to someone giving a speech but not necessarily interact. I've got confbridge configured and

d & e options in meetme()
I'm really confused on how to use these two options together: A while back: JustRumours edited this page: http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+cmd+MeetMe and added a little section about dynamic conferences. the 'e' option is repeated all over the page as the savior of dynamic conferences, maybe I'm just dumb, but can someone tell me if a conference is created with the e

streaming meetme conference
Hello, Our 500+ company is slowly moving away from our hosted conferencing solution to one I built a few weeks ago with Asterisk and MeetMe. When our Q3 conference call comes around, we will have the need to have approximately 300-400 users in this call. Obviously, all would be 'listen only' mode and only 1 or 2 two would be speaking as marked/admin users. Our conference hosting

Confbridge GUI?
Interesting. Are you using the included cbend.php script to terminate conferences? I occasionally get questions about using WMM with Confbridge, and to date I have not had an answer . If you can provide details, even vague ones, about how you did it, I can update the WMM package. The new ConfBridge application is now in Asterisk Trunk!
Howdy, I am proud to announce that after a good bit of development, community feedback, testing, and code review, the brand new ConfBridge application has been officially merged into Asterisk Trunk!!! http://svnview.digium.com/svn/asterisk?view=revision&revision=314598 If you are already familiar with ConfBridge from Asterisk 1.6.X and 1.8, forget everything you know. meetme sounds
I am playing around with dynamic meetme conferences, and wanted to have one person constantly in the conference, with calls "popping in and out". Is there an option / any way of playing enter / leave sounds to the person who created the conference only, and not the people leaving / joining ? TIA Julian.

MeetMe questions
I'm looking into deploying * for an internal conference call server (using MeetMe) and had a couple of quick questions for those of you who have used it. I checked the Wiki but there weren't a lot of details for MeetMe. - Can you limit the size of a conference "room", ie max 8 people, etc. - Is there a list somewhere (besides the source ;) that has all the commands availible to

TE120P in Canada
Hi All, I'm having problems trying to get a TE120P operational in Canada. I keep getting a congestion error when I try to make a call. I'm not sure if my switching, parity, etc is correct. I'm hoping that someone will be able to verify my config. The Telco is SaskTel, with a 10 channel 50 DDI service. Zap show channels show and ztcfg -vv looks ok and the zttool show

Need more meetme users -- hitting some limit
I'm trying to determine the capacity of my host running Asterisk 11.8.1 on CentOS 6.5. The host is an Intel E3-1240v3 with 8GB RAM, an SSD, and gigabit Ethernet. The primary application will be bridging groups of users using meetme(). I'm using 2 boxes -- 1 to initiate calls using call files (box1), and 1 behaving a bit more like a production box -- bridging calls (box2). The call

howto set up persistent dynamic meetme
With 1.6.1, I'm trying to set up a test of meetme for creating dynamic conferences. extensions.conf: [meetme] exten => 2663,1,MeetMe(,De) exten => 2663,n,Hangup() exten => 2666,1,MeetMe() exten => 2666,n,Hangup() What I'm expecting is to dial 2663, get a conference room number ( 600, I suppose since it's the only room ), and set a PIN. Hangup. Then users would dial
