problem with lda
Hello, I am currently testing the upgrade from our dovecot v2.2.23 to 2.3.0. I have a strange problem with lda. We use bounce mails for internal users if they try to send virus/spammails. The exact same config works with 2.2.23, but not with 2.3.0. The relevant postfix/master.cf part: dovecot unix - n n - - pipe flags=DRhu user=vmail:vmail

Aw: Re: problem with lda
thanks for your input. Bill: deliver is just a symlink to dovecot-lda Stephan: I don't know, and and it even does not work when I use deliver -f "postmaster at ourdomain.internal" - I get the same error message. A part of the mail I got when using 2.2.23: Return-Path: <MAILER-DAEMON> Delivered-To: user1 at ourdomain.internal Received: from localhost (localhost [127.0.0.1])

dsync inbox conversion problem (mbox -> mdbox)
Hi, We are trying to convert all mbox mail on our systems to mdbox using dsync, in order to be able to use email sub-folders in Thunderbird. Everything works fine for non-inbox folders, however the inbox folders are not getting converted. We used: *dsync -v convert mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u* *dovecot --version* 2.0.beta6 (3156315704ef) (shipping with RHEL6/SL6) *dovecot -n* #

dovecot problem -- not deleting messages from server after downloading them
I recently installed CentOS 6.0 and Dovecot 2.0. My problem is that, when I download emails to my laptop (running Thunderbird), the emails are NOT deleted from my server. They stay there and are downloaded again and again. 8-( The "Leave messages on server" option in Thunderbird is not checked. I have several laptops that used to work when I ran CentOS 5.6 / Dovecot 1.x. I

indexes permissions problem
Hey all, I did a search but didn't find the answer to my problem, so here goes. I've got a centos 6 server running Dovecot 2.0.beta6 (3156315704ef). For legacy reasons (I'm moving mail from a Dovecot 1.1.1 and FreeBSD box with user home directories NFS mounted), my index files are setup to be in /u/indexes/ On the Dovecot 1.1.1 installation, the perms on the indexes directory is

dovecot: imap-login: Error: net_connect_unix(imap) failed: Resource temporarily unavailable
We recently switched over mail servers to one running dovecot and postfix on RedHat Enterprise 6. The mail store is NFS on a NetApp filer, the index files are on local disk. We have about 6000 total active users, though not all of them access the system at the same time. All goes well for a while, then we start seeing errors like this in the log: dovecot: imap-login: Error:

Help With 'No SASL Authentication Mechanisms' Error
Hi, I'm trying to configure a new server with dovecot 2.0 and postfix 2.6.6. My previous servers have all been dovecot 1.x. Trying to port over my previous configurations has been a real headache. Currently, I'm getting the following errors when trying to connect with: openssl s_client -starttls smtp -connect localhost:25 Aug 21 19:08:46 localhost postfix/smtpd[26252]: connect from

Virtual Folder configuration problem.
I'm attempting to create a virtual inbox that contains all unread messages from the user's Maildir. I created a conf file called 80-virtual.conf containing: mail_plugins = $mail_plugins virtual namespace { prefix = virtual/ separator = / location = virtual:~/Maildir/virtual } And created the /home/username/Maildir/virtual/unseen/dovecot-virtual file which contains: #

Quota
hi, I'm having some difficulty understanding the connection between postfix, dovecot and quota. What is the best way to set up quotas? through the file system quota and maildir? Need the dovecot lda working? The postfix needs a patch? I was thinking about setting quotas on file system, then configure Postfix to connect to dovecot-lda. Any suggestion? The system as a whole is composed

consolidate three function into one
Hi Bert, I am sorry to bother you on weekend. I am still struggling on defining a correct function. I first defined the function RFS (see below), then run it by provide the two argument. m52.2cluster <-RFS(inputfile =allinfo_m52, N=2 ) I do not get error message, but no figure displays on screen. I do not know what is going on. Can you help me a little more on this issue? Thank you,

Hi Richard, Thank you so much!! I understand the problem now, I assign a name to the "ggsurvplot" object and then add print(fig) at bottom of function definition, now figure gets printed on screen. Ding # function to generate RFS curves RFS <- function( inputfile, N ) { cluster<- survfit(Surv(RFS_days2, OV_Had_a_Recurrence_CODE) ~ clusters, data =

FAQ 7.22 You must print a ggplot object, for example with print(m52.2cluster) For the FAQ, run the line system.file("../../doc/FAQ") in R on your computer. Open up the resulting filepath in your favorite editor and scroll down to 7.22 On Sun, Jan 14, 2018 at 4:21 PM, Ding, Yuan Chun <ycding at coh.org> wrote: > Hi Bert, > > I am sorry to bother you on weekend. >

Strange behaviour of ssh
Hello together! I've Debian 6.0.3 with OpenSSH_5.5p1 and problem with the execution of remote commands via ssh. It seems as if the first command isn't looked up in all "$PATH" dirs. Here normally I should get the version information of mpirun twice but the first one fails: $ ssh cluster2 mpirun --version ; mpirun --version bash: mpirun: command not found mpirun (Open MPI) 1.4.3

Several clusters in the same matchine
Hi, is it possible to have several ocfs2 clusters in the same machine? We have webserver1 and webserver2 that should belong to cluster1 and cluster2 "workgroup". Cluster1 should be made of webserver1, webserver2 and application_server1 Cluster2 should be made of webserver1, webserver2 and application_server2 Is this possible? Thanks, Nuno Fernandes

That is certainly OK, but you can also just use print(ggsurvplot(...)) as your final statement. out <- RFS( ...) would then return the ggsurvplot object *and* graph it. Any good R tutorial or a web search will provide more details on function returns, which you might find useful. Cheers, Bert Bert Gunter "The trouble with having an open mind is that people keep coming along and

Thank you, your suggestion is simpler and logically better. I had impression that the last object in a function gets returned, so I did not add the print function at the bottom line of the function definition. Returning an object and graph the object are different process, I am a beginner for writing R function and need to find a good guide source about writing R functions. If you know a good
