Help me make faster R code for Kennard-Stone algorithm [My code is so slow from Matlab]
Hi all, Can you help me change my Kennard-Stone algorithm to faster one? [The original code can run fast in matlab, but when I change matlab code to R code, it is so slow.] Since my code so crude and too many loops (changed from matlab code), it is too slow. I hope that you can help to improve the performance. Thanks. kevin

Newbie:Family Tree Maker 2009 will not execute-Ubuntu Hardy
I'm new to linux so be patient. I'm running Ubuntu Hardy and have Wine 1.1.5 installed. After installing Family Tree Maker 2009 successfully, it will not execute. The screen comes up like it is going to start and says the database needs to be compacted and then the screen fades away. I decided to run FTM 2009 from the terminal and see what is happening. Obviously a lot of things.

Mailbox & Server Down
Fetchmail connects to your provider's e-mail server as if it were an MUA, then feeds mail to your server's MTA as if it were a peer MTA. If your provider doesn't allow client connections (by IMAP or POP), then you're right that fetchmail won't help. It sounds as though you need to set up some kind of failover for your MTA: a second SMTP server, probably configured to feed

I haven't been able to figure out whether there is a way to do this in R: the
