similar to: Wine on the Mac?

Hi! As you can see I'm obviously completely new to Wine. I'd like to install it, but I can't find a download for mac.

I have only just found out about Wine and I an trying to instal it on my MacBook Pro 13 running OX10.6. When I get to the download page and hit the download button I'm taken to a screen with numerous choices, but I can't find anything tht mentions OX10? Can anyone let me know where I'm going wrong please?

This is driving me crazy. I have wine downloaded on my MAC. It's in my application folder. I have MIRC downloaded and it's also in my Application folder. But, when I turn off MIRC, and turn it back on, the whole thing wants to reload. Very annoying since that means it's not saving settings. Any ideas?

I'm far from an expert on the subject matter. Maybe some app that was written for Linux/BSD or whatever is looking at a LD_LIBRARY_PATH on its own and its nothing to do with the OS?
