Hi. When I play games in wine, my mouse pointer was always flashing and kept appearing and disappearing. It disappeared when I held the mouse still. And when moved, it was always with some blurred ghosting cube beyond. I'm using debian, xfce, xfwm4. My wine version is 1.3.34-0.1. nvidia driver version 290.10. linux kernel 3.1.0-1-686-pae. [Image:

Wine Virtual Desktop Question
I've got Lord of the Rings Online working under wine, but the only problem is, it has to be played in full-screen, or else i get a "Must be ran in 16-bit / 32-bit color mode". Running it full-screen via virtual desktop would be no problem, however, when done, i cannot use wine to start Ventrilo. When i start ventrilo via wine after i start up LotRO, it starts in the same window as

Gfxboot COMBOOT module
Hello all, i announce you the gfxboot COMBOOT module which is written in assembler. Since i didn't find as much spare time as i have hoped last weekend it is far from complete. Nevertheless the module is able to interact with the bincode ([1] and [2]) in the bootlogo cpio archive from the openSUSE 10.2 mini cd. So far it is able to call the bincode gfxboot code and setup some menu entries.
