Dovecot 2.1.0 packages for CentOS 6 / RHEL6
Hi, First, Timo, Thank you for Dovecot 2.1.0. I've built Dovecot 2.1.0 RPMs including Dovecot-Pigeonhole 0.3.0 for RHEL6, CentOS 6 and Scientific Linux 6. If anyone is interested in testing these RPMs: http://oss.imt-systems.com/mstevens/el6/dovecot/2.1.0/ Feedback would be appreciated. After some testing, we will use these RPMs on our IMAP servers. Best regards, Morten

Sendmail TLS verify=fail
Hi, I have a small question with sendmail and tls verification. The tls verify fails on our internal/external sendmail servers. For example: STARTTLS=server, relay=mx1.imt-systems.com [89.146.219.60], version=TLSv1/SSLv3, verify=FAIL, cipher=DHE-RSA-AES256-SHA, bits=256/256 STARTTLS=server, relay=acsinet12.imt-systems.com [89.146.219.42], version=TLSv1/SSLv3, verify=FAIL,

Performance-Tuning
Hi, I have > 11 TB hard used Mailstorage, saved als maildir in ext3 on HP EVA. I always wanted to make some mesurements about several influences to the performance (switch to ext4, switch to mdbox), but I never had enough time to do that. At the moment I *need* more speed, we have too much waitI/O on the system and I already used all other performance and tuning-tricks (separated cache,

Postfix and Dovecot SASL: log NTLM username
The problem we are facing is incorrect authentications being caught by firewall rules and IP?s getting blocked. We would like to be able to identify the problem account to help the domain admin track down the issue. Does anyone have another idea? We use sql user db so I thought of logging all login attempts to a table with timestamps and lookup the failed logins by timestamp. Regards, Bradley

Postfix and Dovecot SASL: log NTLM username
dovecot 2.2.22 postfix 3.1.1 I?m seeing "SASL NTLM authentication failed: {long_hash}? in mail.log. Is there a way to log the SASL username? I think postfix is logging what Dovecot SASL is returning so I hope I am asking on the right list. Regards, Bradley Giesbrecht (pixilla)

In fact, looking again, dovecot should log the failure with username, if available. Hi, We are currently testing Dovecot 2.0.13 with mdbox. If I delete large objects with refcount=0 the index is not updated apparently. Who would use Asterisk SS7?
Hello. I am new to this forum. If this issue has been discussed already, please inform me, but my STFW have indicated that it has not. If SS7 were available on * would it make commercial sense to use it? There are case studies on the web (courtesy of the Death Star :->) for ISPs with 10,000+ subscriber lines showing clear cost savings in transitioning from PRI to SS7 controlled IMT. My

Multiple errors from rsync - later 'soft' error raised rather than earlier 'hard' error.
Peter, I was about to post the below to the rsync mailing list, but wondered whether your code which captures rsync output may have allowed rsync to continue past what I think would normally be a fatal error? Thanks Rob. P.S. Should I put the final backups of the old pearcey /home back into their correct slots - 5 backups were recycled, but nothing was added to them? The .Snapshots area is

dovecot 2.2.0 corrupts mailboxes?
Hi On april 17th, I upgraded from dovecot 2.1.13 to 2.2.0. Since that time, I had two different users that reported received three incident of messages that disapeared from their mailboxes. The mailbox format is mbox on local FFS filesystem (no NFS), and I use filesystem quotas (but both users are far from filling their quotas). When the message disapeared, it was always a whole rand of dates.

Is the Dovecot Object Storage plugin still available for purchase? Clicking the store link [2] from this page [1] does not show any info about purchasing the plugin.
