sieve vacation error
Hello everybody, First, I want to thank the development team for the quality and the stability of dovecot. It's now running without problem since two years on my debian box. Next, I'd like you help me to solve the problem I have with vacation/sieve script. My configuration is debian lenny, with standard dovecot packages (1.0). I have setup the sieve plugin, using roundcube on

Experience with Dovecot + Sieve + Webmail?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hello, there were some posts into this lists regarding Webmail interfaces and Sieve. What are the experiences with them? I need a webmail frontend that is capable of IMAP, supporting dovecot's namespaces, verifying PGP and managing Sieve in conjunction with Dovecot. I found two mature products, I also saw posts about, so I'm going to ask.

Dovecot v1.0.3 -> Sieve "redirect" command returning Sendmail exit status 75
Hello! My local setup here is Exim 4.68, DSPAM 3.8.0 and Dovecot 1.0.5. Entirely on MySQL tables for virtual hosts and authentication. Dovecot does the authentication for Exim. What I am having problems with, is a simple sieve script to redirect a message that matches the "X-DSPAM-Result" header as "Spam" to another email address. When this rule matches, deliver returns in

problem with dovecot and sieve
Hi We've been using dovecot with great success so far. We are trying to add sieve support for our users. We enabled managesieve and users can define rules from the webmail (roundcube) with sieverules plugin for roundcube. Everything goes ok, but here's a problem I couldn't figure yet. When I define a redirect rule, the mail is forwarded but a local copy is stored too. Weird thing is

Problem with sieve
Hello List! I have a tiny-teeny problem with dovecot + sieve: it seems that the LDA doesn't run sieve, and thus doesn't filter my emails. Here's the sieve configuration: plugin { # Used by both the Sieve plugin and the ManageSieve protocol sieve=/var/local/vmail/%n/dovecot.sieve sieve_dir=/var/local/vmail/%n/sieve sieve_extensions = +notify +imapflags } The

Editing sieve scripts via webmail?
Hello... I have dovecot 1.0.10 running with the sieve plugin and virtual users (LDAP). My webmail is squirrelmail. I want to allow the users to create sieve-scripts via a squirrelmail-plugin. The plugins seems to require that the IMAP-server is cyrus. What are the options for dovecot? Thanks, Tobias

Sieve file permission problem
Hi folks, I am using dovecot 2.1.7 with the ManageSieve plugin which works great. Recently I set up Afterlogic webmail on my server (the community version) and it has a nice UI to manage the sieve settings. It uses port 2000 to communicate with dovecot via the ManageSieve plugin. Also, dovecot uses Maildirs to store the messages. The problem is that the permissions on the files that store the

Released Sieve v0.1.9 for Dovecot v1.2.1
Hello Dovecot users, Relatively many bugs and problems were reported recently in a short period of time. Apparently, now that Dovecot v1.2 is finally stable, the new Sieve plugin is also starting to get used much more. No known bugs remain. Let's hope I didn't spawn any new ones. Apart from the bugfixes I made the deprecated notify plugin implementation compatible with CMUSieve. You

System-wide sieve script?
In the dovecot LDA documentation, it mentions having sieve scripts located in ~/.dovecot.sieve, which works great for per-user sieve code. I was trying to find out if there was a system-wide sieve script (maybe /etc/dovecot.sieve?) that would hopefully be run first, followed by any per-user sieve code. Anyone know if this is already possible, or if not, if there are any plans to implement
