[PATCH] Add syscall wrappers required by libkeyutils
libkeyutils is used by the keyctl command which is required for loading keys into the kernel (e.g. for mounting an authenticated UBIFS as root file system). libkeyutils usually invokes syscall() directly. As syscall() is not provided by klibc, libkeyutils has to be slightly modified for using the klibc wrappers. Signed-off-by: Christian Eggers <ceggers at arri.de> ---

[PATCH] Add syscall wrappers required by libkeyutils

However, I have absolutely no idea how to correctly implement syscall(3) on s390

libvirt with sasl shadow backend
Hi list, i have a problem with virt-manager authentication over tcp. I tried it with virt-manager over non-TLS "TCP (SASL/Kerberos)" auth. and the sasl mechanism "shadow". The user (tested with unprivileged user and root) is allready in the group libvirt(d) and the process is running as root. The result on host: Jan 18 21:05:31 host libvirtd: 21:05:31.620: error :

Request to merge branch sysconf into master
The sysconf branch only contains a single commit: [klibc] Framework and trivial implementation of sysconf(3) The sysconf() function is required by libkcapi. I use libkcapi in my klibc based initramfs in order to decrypt the file system key for my rootfs. Can somebody merge this commit into master? After that I would like to send further patches required by libkcapi. regards Christian

Problems adding a printer share
I have added an HP Deskjet 600 to my debian etch system, using CUPS. It is working fine. I would like to set it up so that I can occassionally print to it from a Windows 9x machine. This is where I seem to be having trouble. I consulted the HOW-TO docs on the samba site, but they are quite detailed and confusing (for me). I don't want to do anything that will cause the printer to work

CUPS and virtual interfaces
I've got a server with multiple virtual interfaces. Now, I only want CUPS to advertise on *one* - eth0, not eth0:1 or eth0:gad.... Looking at the CUPS manual, and cuppsd.conf man page, I see BrowseAllow, but the entries are not clear enough for me to understand what they mean. (Yeah, I know the docs are better than they were - read ESR's rant about it from a few years ago.) Specifically,

But i miss one feature in Ogg container , i see a lot Theora videos of Presentations , Conference and other talking acts , all with an average quality (video and sound) but seeing these videos i realize the lack feature of Ogg container , subtitle support. These kind of videos are in a variety of languages

cannot setup print in w2k on debian/samba/winwind/cups server
hi. I am trying to get print working and have a hard time indeed... My goal is to replace our nt4 print server with a linux/samba one as we have problems serving printers and drivers to win2000 workstations (and I don't want to set up a win2000 server for printing, and have the same problem _again_ when switching to XP ;-) The situation so far : - Debian woody - Samba 2.2.4-1 - Winbind

RH9, Samba 2.2.8a and printing with CUPS
Hi there I just installed the above mentioned system and try to print from a W2k box to the Samba box but nothing happens. There's no problem in printing from the RH box or via Webmin but when I try to print from the W2k box nothing happens. I don't get an error or anything. I installed the printer by the help of the add printer tool in RH, and simply go to the Printer--->Add
