Debian Squeeze / Powerware 9135 450KVA UPS
Hi All, I'm a system administrator of a large data center, and I've recently replaced the machine that acted as the nut master for our cluster/cloud. The machine that was interfacing with our Powerware 9135 450KVA 3 phase UPS, not to confused with Eaton's Powerware 9135, and was a Fedora Core 4 box running nut version 2.0.3-4 connected by a serial cable. We are using these versions

ATI propietary drivers = wine 3d acceleration?
Hi, I've got 1 GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 graphics card and using propietary drivers (everything seems to be ok), while trying to play a very low graphics game through wine it's laggy and everything sucks, so it looks like there is no graphic acceleration. Other 3d native games run very good. So my question is: Ati propietary drivers let me play wine games or is anything wrong with my

No video acceleration under wine?
OS: Ubuntu 10.04 32bits Core: i5 2,4ghz Video card: Ati Mobility Radeon HD 5470 1GB Hello all, I'm trying to play a direct3d MMORPG game called Ragnarok Online (if you search, you'll see it's not a heavy game), but when I connect, I noticed slow perfomance, as if the game was working just by CPU. So I'm wondering if WINE is using video acceleration for it. I'm using

softmodems bank for ast.
Hi. We need a full featured modem bank 20+ to attend data calls. IAXmodem only supports fax protocols because spandsp only support fax protocols. The idea is to do a IAX wrapper like IAXmodem but with a full featured (but propietary) softmodem library like PCTEL or linuxant. I hate astribank+hardmodems solution. Some body think that is possible? Sorry for my horrible English. ;) Bye.

Nut fsd command ignored: bcmxcp_usb driver, Powerware 5105 UPS
Hi I'm having a problem with the bcmxcp_usb driver FSD command: everything seems to work apart from: upsmon -c fsd Environment: Ubuntu 7.04, nut 2.0.5-1, nut-usb 2.0.5-1, Powerware 3105 UPS. upsd appears to send the FSD command to the UPS, upsmon then runs my NOTIFYCMD (which halts my PC) but the UPS just doesn't turn off. Here are the /var/log/daemon.log entries: Jul 24 23:13:16

Hi to all, I''m using an Effect.Appear on a div that have a PNG 24 (with alpha transparency). Works prefectly on all excecpt... IE6 that do not render alpha channel on PNGs. Have workarounds or tips to fix

Re: [Nemo-devel] nuts status page
Adam: Thanks for putting up this page. But something is wrong. In particular, our Powerware 9135 is a three phase UPS system with THREE 480 volt outputs. So the displayed voltage is not correct -- in fact there should really be THREE voltages displayed, all around 480v. Nut developers: I am copying the NUT mailing list to see if anyone can suggest how to fix this. NUT developers, see the

Open Source NAS/NFS solution
Hi Has anyone got any ideas on a nfs/nas appliance that i can install on x86 hardware with a few JBOD shelves attached to it. I would like an appliance like install and based on CentOS would be great. I really like the look of www.openfiler.com but it seems to be only in RC release stage so i don't think the 'boss' would like that idea. thanks

smbclient fails to authenticate with non extended-security SMB1 server after applying badlock patches
Hi, We support an older version SMB1 server (propietary implementation) which does not support extended security . Mapping a share from that server, using smbclient, was working before applying badlock patches (to the smbclient) , with default settings in smb.conf. However, after applying badlock patches, smbclient fails to map with default settings. When I set the option : "client ntlmv2

Has anyone succesfully setup, and used CentOS as an iSCSI server? I'm trying to setup a server with 4x500GB HDD's, setup in RAID 10 to act as an iSCSI server for a virtualization project, but I can't find a decent howto on how to setup an iSCSI server using CentOS. I would like to setup something like Openfiler, but we also need todo some other stuff that OpenFiler doesn't

Chromium - Application-level nouveau blacklist

(with --ignore-gpu-blacklist ) - Fix all other crashing issues and request re-inclusion. (This is comment #37.) Chrome versions are only 6 weeks, so not too bad of a lead time. - Set up fuzz testing to discover new crashing and stability issues before they impact
