alert_info + Linksys 9xx + custom ringtone
Hello, I have uploaded a custom ringtone to our SPA-922's for the purpose of sounding like a door bell chime when the doorbell is pressed. I am using __alert_info to set this ringtone. It appears that I can only set the ringtone via alert_info for the ringtones that come from Linksys. Has anyone else seen this issue? I am doing the following: exten => 100,1,SetVar(_ALERT_INFO=doorbell)

Generating a different countries ringtone on a per call basis
We can use the Dial() command with the 'r' option in order to generate the UK ringtone (as we are UK based the default is UK). How do we generate a USA ringtone for example? I have tried setting the CHANNEL(language) and CHANNEL(tonezone) to 'us' (and calling Progress() beforehand) and although this works for Playtones() the Dial command still continues to play the UK ringtone.

So it goes like this : 1. dial(SIP/account1,20) 2. queue(myqueue,,,,20) 3. dial(SIP/account2) In step 1 there is a ringtone for the caller. no ringtone - just silence/bridging of external calls
Hi Community! If this issue was already topic, please excuse or delete my request... Topic 1 "no ringtone": I configured a SIP registration with my SIP provider (SIPCall). Everything works fine except the ring tone for the caller. The caller hears silence until the called party takes up the phone. I used the DIAL command with the r and R option but no luck... :( Has anybody the same

Chi-square parameter estimation
Hi. I have made 100 experiments of an M/M/1 queue, and for each one I have calculated both, mean and variance of the queue size. Now, a professor has told me that variance is usually chi-squared distributed. Is there a way in R that I can find the parameter that best fits a chi-square to the variance data? I know there's fitdistr()m but this function doesn't handle chi-square. I believe

Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 freezes on boot after adding just one custom ringtone
Hi I'm new to this list, so please forgive me off-topic or RTFM-questions. I have an asterisk/elastix driven phone-environment using Polycom SoundPoint IP 650 as extensions. When adding just one custom ringtone (~57KB) in a proper format (ML.wav: RIFF (little-endian) data, WAVE audio, ITU G.711 mu-law, mono 8000 Hz) the phone boots well. But after I have chosen the custom ringtone as my

Reading a TIFF file
Dear all, I have been trying to speed up a process we have been done in ArcGIS. We have to read a single layer TIFF (monochrome image) in . For this, I have used the "rtiff" package. After reading the TIFF file, I compared the raw values for each pixel that I have in ArcGIS to the ones obtained in R. In ArcGIS I have discrete values in the range 0..255, while in R I have continuous

grandstream ringtones - makering.pl usage for 1.0.50
If you wan't to create a ringtone with makering.pl for firmware 1.0.50, be sure to create it as ring.bin and then rename it to ring1.bin / ring2.bin or ring3.bin. This seems to be the only change between the format from 1.0.4.68. Regards, Maron

no ringtone
Hi, I have a queue that plays music when a call comes in. To be able to do that I need to Answer() the call first. After a timeout in this scenario the call should be transfered to an extension using a GoTo statement to the extensions context. The problem is that as soon as asterisk Answers the call it can not play a ringtone (or other tones) back to the original caller when executing a Dial

Possible chan_skinny problems - no ringtone, no moh and no queue messages
We're using Cisco phones running skinny protocol. When I call other extensions I don't get a ringtone, although the remote end does ring and when answered we get clear two way audio. When I call a queue from a skinny phone then I don't hear the announcements. Likewise we don't hear music on hold on these phones, although we can see mpg123 in the process list and ls -l the fd

Numerical Integration
Dear @ll. I have to calculate numerical integrals for triangular and trapezoidal figures. I know you can calculate the exactly, but I want to do it this way to learn how to proceed with more complicated shapes. The code I'm using is the following: integrand<-function(x) { print(x) if(x<fx[1]) return(0) if(x>=fx[1] && x<fx[2]) return((x-fx[1])/(fx[2]-fx[1]))

Some minor configuration issues with queues
Hello list ! I have some configuration issues with queues, but I'm sure they are minor and for someone who has already configured queues it could be trivial. This is my queue configuration : [VC_support_queue] musicclass = default strategy = ringall timeout = 20 retry = 5 wrapuptime=15 autofill=yes autopause=no maxlen = 0 setinterfacevar=yes announce-frequency = 0
