Hello,

It's a public share where everybody can read/write and it works fine.
In this share, there is a directory with "specials" permissions
drwxrwx--- 20 root grp2 4096 nov. 16 14:36 Dossier
For me, these permissions allows someone from "grp2" group to

PXE looping on localboot
I have seen posts about this problem, but have had trouble finding how/if it was resolved. I am trying to upgrade from syslinux-3.11 to syslinux-3.86 on RHEL5.
On 3.86, when it performs a local boot from hard disk, it just keeps looping back into PXE boot again instead of booting from the hard disk. It will perform a system install just fine, but when it switches to localboot after the install,

Windows seven
Hello,
i'm using samba 3.2.5 on debian lenny.
Our service have some windows 7 station.
I saw on the wiki (http://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Windows7) that only Samba 3.4
and Samba 3.3 worked.
Is there really no way to make work samba 3.2.5 (as domain controller)with
windows 7.
If not, what is the best way?
use backport, compile the last samba version (wich version) or wait for the next

logon script and variables
Hello, a few years ago, I had encountered a problem regarding the
inclusion of "%G" in logon script (logon script = %G.bat).
The logon script with %G" was not executed
I have this problem again with samba Version: 2:4.9.5+dfsg-5 on debian
stable.
Is it the same bug?
For the moment i use this kind of script to use group definition :
logon script = logon.bat

memdisk and ghost floppy image
I search for long time to make works ghost floppy image "out of the box" with
syslinux without success.
The only solution i found is to modify the the file generated by ghost boot wizard.
the ghost boot wizard generate a "file.sys"
i made (with the help of irc helper) a script to modify this file :
you have to put the file.sys without extension as parameter
#!/bin/bash

Re: virt-viewer and virt-manager problem
Helle and thanks for your answer
You should never modify/update/create files under the /etc/libvirt/qemu
directory. The correct way to do this is virsh dumpxml $domain >
$domain.xml
and virsh define $domain.xml.
I didnt modify or create anything i just copied xml file from the old
server to the new server
Debug log from virt-manager (virt-manager --debug) would be helpful.

pxelinux: unable to boot from local disk
Hello,
on a somewhat recent machine (Dell T1600) I'm unable to use my usual setup
(pxelinux as a boatloader also for local OS - typically windows). The BIOS
is capable of using UEFI, but this is turned off.
Unfortunately all I get is a message telling me that pxelinux is unable to
boot from local disk.
The config entry looks like this:
LABEL local
MENU LABEL OS installed on local disk
