Doveadm backup doesn't interpret placeholders
Hi,
Dovecot version: 2.2.27
I'm using replication between two servers for high availability, but I
also want to backup all users. I have a setting for the replication to
work like this:
plugin {
mail_replica = tcp:other-dovecot
}
This is fine, but then I also want to do a backup to a different
directory for all users, since I am having trouble with an apparent bug
running dovecot

FreeBSD 9.0 - GPT boot problems?
Hi,
I just installed FreeBSD 9.0-release / amd64 on a new machine (Acer Aspire X1470).
I installed from a usb memory stick (the default amd64 image), which I booted by pressing "F12" and selecting it from the boot menu on the machine.
I installed on a SSD (which replaced the hard drive originally in the machine), using the default scheme for 9.0 (GPT).
The installation was painless (many

Weird DISKS behaviour on 4.8-STABLE
Hello people,
I have been experiencing a weird problem with 4.8-STABLE for a long time.
I was ignoring it, thinking that it was a problem with the SCSI disks or
perhaps the contoller. I changed the disks from the original Intel box
to a Compaq box and I still noticed the problem was there.
What happened is that all of a sudden, the disk would 'fill' up with
nothing! Yes, that's true.

Problems in games.
I have a RedHat 7.0 system. I compiled wine (form CVS, mondya afternoon) with the transgaming patches.
For the most part it works pretty good, I can use napster, winamp, and many other programs that are installed on my win98 partition.
The problem is when I play games. I donm't have that many games that I want to play (about 5), but I can;t get any of them to work properly.
The first game

samba3x PDC and Win XP
I am at my wits end on this one. Ever since I upgraded to samba3x
(present version 3.5.10-0.110.el5_8) in preparation for adding a Win 7
client, my WinXP client can no longer find their roaming profiles nor
can they assign their home shares to a drive at login. Logins and
authentication work just fine and I can see the home and profile shares
from the Win XP client after login. My smb.conf

ad0: READ command timeout....
This morning I found a frozen box. On the console was this:
ad0: READ command timeout tag=0 serv=0 - resetting
ata0: resetting devices .. ata0-slave: ATA identify retries exceeded
done
After reboot, those messages were found in /var/log/messages.
I'm running FreeBSD 4.8-RC from Apr 4 10:45:49 EST 2003.
Any ideas?

My games go black
When I try to play Pharaoh (and sometimes Caesar 3) my screen becomes black
and the only thing to do is Ctrl+Alt+Backspace. I think Wine is still
running but the game has just stopped. Does Wine have some way of stopping
the program it's running? Even when I don't have access to the Eterm window
that I opened it in?
