ordering in list.files
Hi R, My csv files are stored in the order, '1abc.csv', '2def.csv', '3ghi.csv', '10files.csv' in a folder. When I read this into R from list.files (R command: x=list.files("Z:/CSV/fold",full.names=F), I don't get the same order, instead I get the order as "10files.csv" "1abc.csv" "2def.csv" "3ghi.csv". But

This diff needs fixing.
It is just me or is the entire Wine AppDB screwed up? Why is it that people complain when no-cd fixes are used when a programs is rated platinum, yet when you need to set and use native dll's it's okay? It's either one or the other, for example why is MS Office 2007 rated platinum for? You need native dll's and not wines versions to run it, yet in games that use secu-rom or other

FC5 and Kernel panic - not syncing: Attempted to kill init!
Hi all, I have recently installed FC5 along with xen via yum. I''ve successfully rebooted using the dom0 (2.6.16-1.2133_FC5) kernel, started xend, and trying to start my first domU after following the instructions in the user guide. However, I keep receiving a kernel panic and an error about XENBUS timeout. Any help greatly appreciated as I am stumped. Should I be using the provided

Failed building 3.0.30 for tru64 4.0F
Dear friends, I failed to buld samba 3.0.30 for tru64unix 4.0F. I am curently locked to this os version due to other production software. We currently run Samba 2.2.8a but we were requested to upgrade by our network group. I downloaded 3.3.30 and did $ cd source $ ./configure no warnings or errors as far as I could see, except checking for replacing readdir using getdirentries()...

Test Failure for RW1 with samba-3.0.30, Solaris 9
I'm trying to build and install Samba 3.0.30 on a Solaris 9 SPARC machine. When I do a "make test", the RW1 test is failing. If I go back and configure and build 3.0.28 with the same settings, and do a make test, everything passes. Samba and LDAP install on FreeBSD
Here is my problem. I installed the OpenLdap 2.4.10 server and SASL client. I then went to install the Samba 3.0.30 Port and it tells me that it needs to install OpenLDAP client 2.3.42, but the 2.4.10 is in the same place and I need to deinstall it. I deinstall 2.4.10 and samba will install, but now openldap will not run because it has missing files. I went to reinstall the 2.4.10 SASL client,

Still no joy using "print command" with 3.0.30
Greetings once again, I am still having trouble with the "print command" option in 3.0.30. In our computer lab, we force CUPS to print the jobs on hold, using: print command = lp -H hold -d %p %s This worked well with the Slackware packages of Samba 3.0.28 and CUPS 1.1.23. When I upgraded Samba to 3.0.30, the jobs were no longer queued on hold, but printed immediately. To

[LLVMdev] Stable Release Schedule: 3.5.2 and 3.6.1
Hi, Here is schedule for upcoming stable releases: 3.5.2 - This will be the last 3.5.x release. There was a critical bug fix that did not make it into 3.5.1, which made it necessary to do 3.5.2. I will accept other fixes, but the merge window will be very short: March 16 - Tag 3.5.2-rc1 and begin testsing March 25 - 3.5.2 release (If no regressions found during testing). 3.6.1 - Bug fixes

Hi, I am testing geo-replication 3.5.2 by following the instruction from https://github.com/gluster/glusterfs/blob/master/doc/admin-guide/en-US/markdown/admin_distributed_geo_rep.md All commands are executed successfully without returning any error, but no replication is done from master to the slave. Enclosed please find the logs when starting the geo-replication volume. At the end of the log,

[FORGED] r-base is already the newest version (3.5.2-1bionic)
The silence has been deafening in respect of my latest cri de coeur about trying to install R via "sudo apt-get r-base". I have been thrashing around on my own, and getting nowhere. What I have tried is removing all traces of the "old" (installed from source) R from the system. I did "whereis R" and then moved all of the relevant directories that appeared, into

Novell Client forces password change, Ver. 3.5.2. and LDAP
Dear all, we have a strange behavior using Samba (Verson 3.5.2) as PDC with Open LDAP (Version 2.1.22) as backend and an old Novell-Client (version: 4.91 SP5) running on WinXP (SP3 and higher). The old PDC (Version 3.0.28) was running over years with the same LDAP-Server as backend and with Novell installed on the clients. We decided to migrate to Samba 3.5.2 , updated all the LDAP schemas

Samba 3.5.2 with/out aio on FreeBSD 7.2
Hi, I have a FreeBSD 7.2 machine with Samba 3.4.5 with aio support enabled. If I try to upgrade to Samba 3.5.2 from source aio support compiles but I receive "Abnormal server exit: Failed to setup RT_SIGNAL_AIO handler" fatal error from smbd. Without aio 3.5.2 too works nice. Any hint please what has been changed from 3.4.5 to 3.5.2 regarding aio? Or what special compile option would
