Agents getting logged off agressively
I have a group of agents logged in to a queue that is set for ringall. The agents are set to auto logoff if they don't answer in 15 seconds incase they step away without logging out. That works fine, however, if they are on a call and a new call comes in, they are getting logged out too. The phones are ATA's connected via SIP. One thought is that the phones may be allowing a second

solution: wbinfo -K not working
Hi! The problem lies in the "winbind separator" settings. If I use winbind separator = \\ everything goes well. I believe this is due to a bug. As I don't want to register to yet another bugzilla, please someone issue the report there. Explanation: winbindd_raw_kerberos_login uses parse_domain_user to generate the kerberos principal from state->request.data.auth.user at this

How to identify the operating system of a client?
My goal is to distinguish between Mac and Windows clients on a Samba server in order to provide shares with vfs_fruit only to Mac clients. So I assumed using the variable substitution %a which contains the architecture of the remote machine would be the correct way forward. But as it turns out, a Windows 10 client is reported as having the architecture "OSX". Short of agressively

Problem with NTLM
Hi all; We have Squid 2.5.STABLE7running with 30 ntlm_auth helpers Version 3.0.10-1.fc3. The problem is that on the squid?s cachemgr.cgi->NTLM User Authenticator Stats is possible to verify that the ntlm_auth processes are slowly having the flag R (Reserved or Deferred) set and never being used again (the number of requests stops). This problem goes until there is no more ntlm_auth

improve compatibility with Galaxy tablet?
See below, although none of these things should be specific to the Galaxy tablet (my older tablet works fine, too). On 2020-01-03 13:20, Robert Jeffares wrote: > Is the Galaxy using Wi-Fi ? Agressive echo cancelation
Anyone know if it is possible to control how aggressively the "Aggressive" mode behaves. Meaning, is it possible to dial back the aggressive mode to have a happy medium between Regular and the Aggressive defaults. I have a situation where Normal echo cancellation is not quite enough, however when I turn on aggressive mode We are attacking it to hard and I am unhappy with the walkie

[LLVMdev] Target-specific defaults for LLVM tools?
What is the preferred method for compiler (frontend) developers to optimize and generate target machine code from IR? At one point I found a tutorial that recommended simply dumping the IR to a file and spawning llc to do the job. Up until now I have "manually" created a TargetMachine, PassManager, etc. to generate my object code. The initial version of my code was cribbed from llc for

Samba and Seq. Read ahead.
Please don't shoot me for cross posting, but I wanted to share this with everyone. Just thought you'd like to know that I've discovered a very interesting thing about AIX and Samba with respect to Sequential Read Ahead. I had been tracking a number of issues related to performance on my Samba 2.2.7a server and didn't have any issues other than lengthy profiles when I was running

Sisvel's claim on MP3
Dear all, I just know that Sisvel (http://www.sisvel.com) claims patent on MP3 and starting charging fee on MP3 encoding/decoding (http://www.audiompeg.com). I take a look on its patent claims and it seems that they are very board. I wonder if vorbis would be affected by them. fixed point speex encoder targeted to embedded devices
Hi! I have heavily lobotomized libspeex, resulting in a fixed point encoder for 8khz sampling rate and 32 bit signals. More information and download: http://magwas.freeblog.hu/archives/2007/01/14/2079127/#a2079127 (I am not in this list, please comment there, or cc me.)

Multi-user databases (DOS application) in WIndows XP and Windows 2k file locking problem
Hello all! I discover a strange thing. We use and develop DOS financial accounting application, written on Xbase (formerly known as Clipper). This application agressively uses of file sharing and locking (byte-range and all possible for DOS combinations), creates and uses huge amount of index (NTX) and Dbase III (DBF) files on network shared resource. Network clients are Windows 98se,

RFC: Absolute or "fixed address" symbols as immediate operands
Hi all, I wanted to summarise some discussion on llvm-commits [0,1] as an RFC, as I felt it demanded wider circulation. Our support for references to absolute symbols is not very good. The symbol will be resolved accurately in non-PIC code, but suboptimally: the symbol reference cannot currently appear as the immediate operand of an instruction, and the code generator cannot make any assumptions

R and computer heat
Hi, I noticed the temperature of my laptop rises sharply during execution of a long R script that generates several hundred plots, all of them saved to files. No screen output. Temps reached above 90 Celsius degrees in the box and above 80 C deg in the processor. The machine turns on cooler at maximum speed and exhaled air is really hot. Tried similar operations (batch graphic and music

[LLVMdev] Unit test patch, updated
Here's the version of the unit test patch, incorporating the feedback I have received so far. Some notes on the patch: - This patch doesn't include googletest itself, that will need to be checked in separately. The source distribution will live in llvm/utils/unittest/googletest. (The reason for the extra directory level is so that the LLVM-specific makefiles can live in
