LMTP: userdb lookup - user-filter with variables
I tried to use dovcots lmtp instead of dovecot-lda. postfix has in master.cf ... dovecot-lda -f ... -d ${user} to separate the user part from user at hostname.domain. So lookup of "user" succeeds in userdb (LDAP) done by dovecot-lda. I have always local addresses like to=<user at hostname.domain> postfix/lmtp[6579]: [ID 197553 mail.info] B3CDA66A16: to=<h0094slk at

forwarded message is broken in 2.2.10 with pigeonhole-0.4.2
Hi, forwarding a message with sieve like redirect:copy "me at other.domain"; was working without any problem until dovecot-2.1.17, dovecots lmtp and dovecot-2.1-pigeonhole-0.3.5. Using dovecot-2.2.10 , dovecots lmtp and dovecot-2.2-pigeonhole-0.4.2 the structure of a forwarded message is broken. Content of a message is not displayed or an attachment (for instance pdf) can not be

Access denied" I chmod 777 the driver directory and spool directory. I gave specified the user as printer admin in the share. My firewall is disabled. Why is it still giving me the access denied error? Best

Cluster: node to node switching
Hi *, I use samba 3.2.3 actually and have problems to switch between two nodes in a cluster in an active directory environment. I know of CTDB but I want to keep it simple and so I use a shared folder for the .tdb files. But it does not work since samba 3.2 anymore. After switching from one node to another I have to delete the .tdb files and join again to the domain to have access to samba.

R for commercial use
Hi everyone, want to use R in our company but have to complete an intern questionnaire first. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance! Here the questions I’m not sure about: 1. Is R a Clientsoftware / Serversoftware / Systemsoftware? 2. Does R need a “chellenge-response” treatment for activation? 3. Is R proxy-able? 4. Is the personalised WINDOWS-NTLM-authorization at ISA-proxy

DFree and sub-Share "disk" (volume?)
James Wright <12wrigja at gmail.com> 9:56 PM (13 minutes ago) to samba Hi Samba users, I have a Samba server with a single share backed by a ZFS pool / collection of datasets. I can correctly navigate around the share, but the free space reporting within clients is inaccurate for various directories, especially those that are themselves setup as datasets in ZFS and have quota applied to

Index Searcher Causes GC Memory Error: "irb: double free or corruption"
My linux Ruby application is using Ferret 0.11.4. I created my own class IndexSearcher to contain the Searcher of multiple directories. If I do not have the searcher.close called, the end of runner/console or runner/server will pop out with system error: *** glibc detected *** irb: double free or corruption (fasttop): 0x0a51d6c0 *** ======= Backtrace: ========= /lib/libc.so.6[0x638ac1]

Help: dfree command
Hi folks, I'm trying to use a custom dfree command to have my Samba share reports accurate disk usage, here my dfree script (I pretty much copied it right off the smb.conf man page) #!/bin/sh /bin/df -k $1 | tail -1 | awk '{print $2" "$4}' In smb.conf, I included this line: dfree command = /usr/local/admin/samba-2.2.4/bin/dfree This dfree command is root owned,

Newbie question on file source
Hi, Please correct me if I''m wrong but it seems to me that in the case of a remote file source the path must contain the plain filename after the module and paths with directory elements are not supported. What I wanted is the following: +++++ fileserver.conf +++++ [system] path /services/puppet/common/ allow * +++++ site.pp +++++++++++++ file {
