[samba 3.0.28a,1] Unable to connect to CUPS
Hello
I don't have CUPS installed on this FreeBSD 6.3 host, but don't
provide printer access to SMB clients anyway, but still, I get the
following error in log.smbd when starting up Samba:

Re: samba Digest, Vol 16, Issue 45
Hi Mike,
You may need to create the netlogon folder in your Samba directory tree.
Samba is installed on my servers in /usr/local/samba - netlogon is a
subfolder of that, with scripts being a subfolder of the netlogon
directory.
My logon scripts are therefore in /usr/local/samba/netlogon/scripts and
are owned by root.root, readable by all. Find your Samba directory and
have a look for the

weird Windows profile creation
It seems weird. On 75% of my machines, it creates accounts as:
c:\documents and settings\username
on 25% of the machines, it creates them as:
c:\docments and settings\username.DOMAINNAME
These are fresh machines, so it's unclear to me where this behavior
stems from. We're not using roaming profiles.
Does anyone have any idea as to why this happens?
thanks

Syslinux Digest, Vol 93, Issue 1
All,
Thanks for all your help. Now, I can compile the latest source code base on
RedHat 5.5 after update nasm(to 2.09) and binutil(2.17).
And *make spotless* before *make* under core/ directory. But with the new
pxelinux.0, the PXEClient can not bootup.
The error info,
No valid file system found!
And stuck in there. I think maybe the gcc cause the problem. My gcc version
is 4.1.2.
Thanks aaron

mirrors down?
Just went to update a couple systems this morning, and first one machine
took nearly 15 min to find the mirrors (and it should be getting it all
from our own repo, actually), and then the next one showed about 8-10
mirrors down, including Harvard and VCU. Anyone know what's going on?

Re: Rails Digest, Vol 18, Issue 502
I had an Article class and a Publication class, in NewsML, this was
patterned after one NewsML file having references to multiple files, as per
Reuters use. This is a design question, and nothing to do with Rails per se,
I would say; except for the relationship between the DAO and the Business
object, which is identical to MVC in any object oriented programming
language, I would say.

Radrails! Certainly complies with what you are looking for and much more.
(Ctrl-Shift-V to toggle the editor between Model and View, for example).
Runs as a standalone application, or as a feature (plugin) on the Eclipse
platform. Cross platform either way.
Then there''s the cost: it''s free!
