Hi, I am running samba and lprng for 4 hp laserjets. Sometimes a samba print job goes to the wrong printer. Normally everything works just fine. In the one directory the files started as... ...a 777 file was users[100] and root...now they are gc[1002] and fred_smith [1005], but the permissions changed to 764.
