Samba Faxing..........
Dear All, Has anyone come up with a decent faxfilter script that actually works when use Samba + Mgetty/Sendfax. I can print to Samba printers from Windows with no problems, and I can use the faxspool command to send postscript files as faxes from a Linux box. The only part I can't get to work is the vital link between the Samba printer and

rsync wants to copy Identical directory structure and files.
Hello, I have two identical directories and when I run an rsync --dry-run on them rsync wants to transfer all the files from the source directory to the target directory. I verified some files in both directories with 'ls -l' and the output is the same which, if I understand correctly, means that rsync should not include the file in the list of files to transfer. I also did an md5

find
I am looking for something similar to the windows SEARCH FILES comman with the option "files containing ..." (that is where I can specify a string and it will find all files containing that string -- not just having the string as part of the name but actually containing it in the text). Is there some way to do this?

Help writing a Scheffe Contrast function for R
Hello, As a new user of R (less than a month) I have got my hands on several books and am pouting through the net looking for help in gaining understanding of this powerful tool. I am becoming more proficient with using basic functions to conduct basic statistics. I am now looking to learn how to write code. After a few small worthless functions I decided to try to create a function that was

difficulties computing a simple anova
My grasp of R and statistics are both seriously lacking, so if this question is completely naive, I apologize in advance. I've hunted for a couple hours on the internet and none of the methods I've found have produced the result I'm looking for. I'm currently a student in a Statistics class and we are learning the ANOVA. We had to do one by hand and then reproduce our work in SAS.

[LLVMdev] Incorrect result in LLVM Alias Analysis
I have used the follwing command, opt -load LLVComMan.so -ComMan -memdep -tbaa -mem2reg maptest.ll -S What option other than -mem2reg should be included in this case to get the right results? Does the order in which I specify the optimizations to be run make a difference? Duncan Sands wrote: > > Hi Adarsh, > >> I want to check if the values a and b in the program alias.

[[.data frame and row names
Hi, I'm wondering why indexing a data frame by row name doesn't work with [[. It works with [: > sw <- swiss[1:5,1:2] > sw["Moutier", "Agriculture"] [1] 36.5 but not with [[: > sw[["Moutier", "Agriculture"]] Error in .subset2(.subset2(x, ..2), ..1) : subscript out of bounds The problem is really with the row name (and not

In lib/ExecutionEngine/SectionMemoryManager.cpp in SectionMemoryManager::finalizeMemory method: // Make code memory executable. ec = applyMemoryGroupPermissions(CodeMem, sys::Memory::MF_READ | sys::Memory::MF_EXEC); ... //
