extd_audit module doesn't write to log.smbd?
Hi all, I'm using Samba 3.0.14a on Debian Sarge. According to Samba HOWTO, I've set syslog = 0 to make extd_audit module writes to log.smbd instead of syslog, but in log.smbd only 1 line about creating new folder was written. How do I make extd_audit module works as HOWTO document? Below is my smb.conf file: ################################################# [global] server string = %h

snapdir visable recursively throughout a dataset
Is there an existing RFE for, what I''ll wrongly call, "recursively visable snapshots"? That is, .zfs in directories other than the dataset root. Frankly, I don''t need it available in all directories, although it''d be nice, but I do have a need for making it visiable 1 dir down from the dataset root. The problem is that while ZFS and Zones work smoothly

rpcclient netsharegetinfo against linux server
Hi list, I wonder why rpcclient -c 'netsharegetinfo tmp' returns "C:\tmp" as physical path when run against a samba server on a linux box. It should return "/tmp". As I understand it the rpcclient command is not actively maintained, if so, is there any other utils or libs that will let me do this? Cheers, Henrik

global zone snapshots
Is it possible to give access to the snapshots of a global zone (through lofs perhaps?) into a zone? I recall that you can''t just delegate a snapshot dataset into a zone yet, but was wondering if there is some lofs magic I can do? Thanks

Concatenate a vector into a string, only using distinct component
I'm trying to use combine c('a','b','c','a','c') into 'a, b, c', the order does not matter. paste(c('a','b','c','a','c'), collapse=', ') yields 'a, b, c, a, c'. Any idea? -- Regards, Anh Tran [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Draw curve for histogram
Hi all, What parameter should I feed to the hist function to draw a line, not bar graph for a histogram? Smoothed line would be great too. I've looked at curve() for normal distribution but it's not what I need. I need some curve on top of the histogram (fit to the actual data). Just as a way to illustrate, rather than bargraph. What about ZFS ?
Hi everybody, I'm looking for information about using GlusterFS with ZFS. I got information that talked about a sort of incompatibility between the both technologies because of unsupported xattr feature in ZFS. What are the latest news about this ? Thank you in advance.

Time vs Concentration Graphs by ID
Hello-- I have a data for small population who took 1 drug at 3 different doses. I have the actual drug concentrations as well as predicted concentrations by my model. This is what I'm looking for: - Time vs Concentration by ID (individual plots), with each subject occupying 1 plot -- there is to be 9 plots per page (3x3) - Observed drug concentration is made up of points, and predicted drug
