indexing tables for dialing
Hello I would like to know how can I manage to implement a table which translates an extension number into a phone number. Let see an example: If I dial an extension like 3021, Asterisk has to Dial an agent (our employees) located at San Francisco using the following telephone number: 415 541 XXXX. If it does not work we can also use his/her mobile number. We need to manage more than 180

rpcclient / adddriver returns WERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Hi, I am trying to prepare downloadable printer drivers for Windows-Clients with Samba 3.0.0-final. Everything worked fine so far. But I found no way to add the printer driver files to the samba database. The method using the Add Printer Wizard in W2k did not work for me. This is what I tried: linux4:/# rpcclient -U'root%secret' -c 'adddriver "Windows NT x86"

WERR_ACCESS_DENIED trying to set printer driver in samba-3.0.23d
I am having problems getting Pont and Print to work with samba-3.0.23d, cups and ldap. I used an XP box to install the windows drivers on the samba server by adding the drivers in the "Printers and Faxes" section (using the server properties tab) for the samba server. This part worked fine but when I want to associate the driver to the printer I get an access denied in windows and in

Point'n'Print: adddriver / WERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Dear list, This problem has been bugging me for days now, I've got Cups version 1.1.21 and Samba 3.0.7 installed and working. There is a single Laserjet 4100 attached to the network, printing via Cups or Cups/Samba works fine. The problems are with getting Point'n'Print to work. I've been scouring the net, archived posts of this list, read the official Samba manual, to no

What is WERR_ACCESS_DENIED
Hi, I searched through the list archives and saw this question asked but not answered, so I'm hoping someone can help me. I am trying to use rpcclient to set a printer driver and it's failing with the error message: WERR_ACCESS_DENIED. I've included the full output of the command at debug 4 level below. Here's the probably pertinent information. First, this use to work.

werr_access_denied when running setdriver for a printer
Hi all, I'm getting WERR_ACCESS_DENIED error for some of the printers when running setdriver printer_name printer_driver as part of the cupsaddsmb step. Weirdly, it works for some printers, and never works for others, while all the printers have the same settings. Samba 3.5.20 with CUPS 1.5.4. Does this part of log give any clue of why could this happen? function print_access_check() --

spoolss_io_r_setprinter/WERR_ACCESS_DENIED on 2.2.7a
I am unable to 'Apply' new drivers to any printers shared on my Samba 2.2.7a machine from a Windows XP machine. I log in as root, the drivers upload to print$ without a hitch. But when I click 'Apply' or 'OK' to close the printer properties dialog box, I get 'Cannot set printer properties. Access denied'. The printer is a Hewlett Packard LaserJet 4100TN, the driver

unable to resolve WERR_ACCESS_DENIED - please help
hi, I'm trying to mirgate shares from a NT4 to a samba 3.0.22 server. I understand that 'net rpc share add' should work before trying 'net rpc share mirgate'. I configured smb to use winbind which works great to connect and writing to the shares. I also confogured nsswitch to auth to winbind, which works great too. I added entry for add|change|delete share command that

Dear Andrew, I know you may not have time for this, but I found a list message from you in August ([cifs-protocol] Errors when doing a DsAddEntry ) where you show quite the same error I get when I try to join Samba 4a17 to a W2003 domain. I get to add partialy the server to the domain, but fails with "WERR_ACCESS_DENIED" at some point. I've searchead the web without finding a
